- SverigesKung, on 02/01/2009, -1/+16 Så är det enda från mig taget,
Som jag av jordiskt allt begärt!
Mitt liv jag som en börda dragit,
Och tusen plågor hjärtat tärt;

Godspeed Ingemar. - anklesnap, on 01/31/2009, -0/+12RIP
- hildenborg, on 02/01/2009, -0/+11I live in Gothenburg which is Ingo's hometown. And I just read in the local newspaper that there already is talk about building a 30ft statue of him on Gothenburgs parade street (Avenyn).
That would really be a tribute to his achivement and proof of that he is in the hearts of all of us living in Gothenburg.

- pumpelly, on 02/01/2009, -0/+2My dad's parents came to the US from Sweden back in the early part of the 20th Century and settled in New Hampshire - My farfar (Swedish for grandfather) came from a small town in the Gothenburg area and was very proud of his Swedish heritage as am I.
Swedish-American meant nothing to him, he was always an American first after he became a US citizen in 1916, and served in the Army during WWI - my dad and my farfar were/are my heroes.
I'll never forget the excited phone call we got from farfar the night that Mr. Johansson knocked out Mr. Patterson in 1959 - he was delirious with joy and pride for "Ingo" - My condolences go out to Mr. Johansson's family, and a big "tack så mycket" for the great memories Mr. Johansson left me and my family - he was a good man.
- freshgrease, on 02/01/2009, -0/+2He's never gonna Kungsbackagain.
On a serious note: I hope you won your way into Valhalla. Epic battles, feasts, and wild sex sounds exponentially more awesome than Christian heaven. - devfeed, on 02/11/2009, -0/+1Wow! I'd better go and sleep instead of reading THIS http://homemasters.info
