Downward dog may sound slightly retarded and awkward, but I can assure you it is absolutely retarded and magnificently awkward.
It gets even better when you go into 5-pointed star, then into Prayer-Position... which works it's way into cat/dog. Cat/Dog is the arching and unarching of your back while on all fours. But as I got into it, and more comfortable with the other folks in the class... it became decidedly relaxing. I'm going to miss it... but will probably never do it again seeings as how my GPA won't be involved.
