This is not evolutionary technology, this is revolutionary technology. People are lining up to invest in this. This technology will result in cities without cars, and will stimulate the health care industry with millions of middle aged and senior americans having broken hips from trying to learn how to rollerblade. There will be thousands of new rollerblading schools that open just so people can stand behind this thing without falling.

    I think the main marketing problems affecting the segway are:
    1. Nobody needs them for anything
    2. About a dozen alternatives beat it in every aspect
    3. They serve no purpose
    4. They cost a ton
    5. You look ridiculous on them
    6. You can walk faster.
