- Arkonnan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9No kidding. It's taking up valuable space that would be better suited to the latest 'top 10 CSS tips' blog spam submission.
/sarcasm - datechoon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7There is a world outside baseball and nba, kid.
- arjie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I just saw this on the news. Really sad, 58's pretty young. Damn, I certainly hope it isn't related to Pakistan's loss in the world cup. (like some kind of a drinking binge after the loss or something that some people do) That would be just terrible.
- anticonartist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4A horrible story and a real shame. It was heart shattering to hear this breaking on the live coverage today. But, at least, it reminded me about the international camaraderie of cricket.
- mariowario, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3There are people in this world that consider their job as their life. To you it might be a stupid cup, but for him it must have felt like he let the whole nation down since the passion for cricket is so great in pakistan and there were high expectations for this world cup. Not saying his death is remotely related to the last game but he would never address it as a "stupid cup".
- NasKa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3A human life is worth more than stupid CUP. Let alone Woolmer’s life who gave us so much. I wish I could tell him that. May God rest him in peace.
- Eastlygod, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4RIP Bob. A huge blow to the cricking world. You will be missed.
It seems rather messed up, I really hope there's nothing untoward gone on, with the few Pakistani fans who we're calling 'Death To Woolmer' yesterday. His words yesterday suddenly bring up a whole new meaning - He said "I want to sleep on it before I make a decision about my future" and that to me seemed more relevant to his life than his career.
A truly great man. - thasmadawg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Being Pakistani, and a cricket fan... This sucks :(
RIP Bob, you'll be missed. - nonchallant0819, on 03/30/2008, -0/+0This is a great story... found this one through http://www.google.com

- TheDucksNuts, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Very sad. The dude was obviously overwhelmed at Pakistan's massive failure against the Irish. At least he died doing what he loved.
- nachhu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1all for cricket ..people have a heart ..it just a damn sport!
Bob ...may your soul rest in peace! - Jus2Gud, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1He was a diabetic and may have had a high blood-sugar level when they found him lying unconscious. Big loss to the cricket world.
- datechoon, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Lets wait for the autopsy before drawing any conclusion.
- manalo8686, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1OMG they killed Woolmer, those B@stards!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Recently, Pakistan lost in the first round at the ICC World Cup in West Indies. They say heart attack was the main cause of the death. uh huh.
- punch, on 10/12/2007, -8/+4Cricket?!? You gotta be kidding.
- goodbeershow, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Baseball season starts soon!
- nepawoods, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Bob who? He coached crickets? To do what? What planet am I on?
- afruff23, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1No offense to the deceased, but huh?? Did somebody rig the system to front page this story?
- iRoy, on 10/12/2007, -10/+3how did this make the front page?
- alternative123, on 10/12/2007, -9/+0rumors say it's tear gas poisoning- anyway, sad day for cricket.
