- JustinHopewell, on 03/23/2009, -0/+14That looks like a lot of fun, but I could see myself burning my face off pretty easily.

lolwut? - dkaksl, on 03/23/2009, -0/+5Wow, that was beautiful.
- jcims, on 03/23/2009, -1/+6As much as i want to call you handwringers a bunch of pussies, i have to say that 'ignorant' would be much more accurate.
As long as the guy doesn't start directly ladling the crowd, this is a lot less dangerous than running a cutting torch or welding. The small bits of iron are moving very quickly, have already skinned and by the time they hit you would generally just bounce off. Worst case is you get some between your toes, because they won't fall through your shoes and will sit there and sizzle.
Life is meant to be lived, not observed. - ancientdinko, on 03/23/2009, -0/+4the sheepskin and a hat is also the official safety suit of the Chinese nuclear program
- harrythe3rd, on 03/23/2009, -0/+3bad.ass.
- skiiper, on 03/23/2009, -0/+3I cant even begin to describe how dangerous this is.

- yuanzhoulu, on 03/23/2009, -0/+2it's hotter than an electric stove at full power ... would pretty much just burn straight through like a hot knife on butter
- mgbuddy, on 03/23/2009, -0/+2Well, we have pretty good celebrations more or less like that one. Curious, we use the same hats. :)

But using fireworks instead... - fluxion, on 03/23/2009, -0/+2about as "uncommon" as a 4th edition Counterspell
- SkippyDoorknob, on 03/23/2009, -0/+1I got some hot glue on my thumb one time and it hurt like crazy and made an instant blister. I can't imagine what even a small bit of molten iron would feel like...
- theragu40, on 03/23/2009, -0/+1Does anyone know what the music was?
- decker12, on 03/23/2009, -0/+1I somehow doubt that they get ***** before doing this. I'm also assuming it's pretty dangerous to the viewer, as well as their livestock, houses, fields, etc..
- diablo75, on 03/23/2009, -1/+2It would be twice as good if they had Grinder Girl there.
- griz, on 03/23/2009, -0/+1"Fortunately they're protected by sheepskin coats"
Um...WHAT? - Frostek, on 03/23/2009, -0/+1Ha, this is nothing to the hot new internet sport of... plutonium gargling.
- frontaxle, on 03/23/2009, -0/+1Trippy music not quite Chinese but they have been doing it for hundreds of years. Safety Scmaeftey
- ryanvo, on 03/23/2009, -0/+1Wait until OSHA gets word of this.
- Fender757, on 03/23/2009, -0/+1Dumb title...awesome video
- seedsofwar, on 03/23/2009, -2/+2i pour molten iron down the front of my pants every day. what you got now, chinese farmer?
- charters14, on 03/23/2009, -3/+2I wonder how many people have died over the years during this festival. Maybe our perception of danger as a society is skewed and this is actually relatively safe.
Or the Chinese are fearless molten iron throwers. I for one welcome our new overlords.
