- andyb747, on 11/26/2008, -5/+48Its amazing that Michael Jackson would dance around with one glove on grabbing his balls on stage and the whole world loved him
-but Michael Phelps trains hard, wins the most medals and everyone criticizes him. - lovek, on 11/26/2008, -2/+32Yes, but he pulled it off in a world-record-shattering 13:27.
- Zippo, on 11/26/2008, -2/+26And now the poor guy is just doing Guitar Hero commercials...
- jun2san, on 11/26/2008, -6/+29Who's this Michael Phelps guy?
- Shadowlight5, on 11/26/2008, -0/+19Michael Faps of course
- Stavrosian, on 11/26/2008, -3/+20Yes, I'm sure the deciding factor which gave him the strength and talent to accomplish this feat was the place in which his parents *****.
- AmyVernon, on 11/26/2008, -2/+17Guess he found something deep down.
- Stemnin, on 11/26/2008, -5/+19It's over 9000!

Michael Phelps!!!
*fap fap fap* - hitdrumhard, on 11/26/2008, -0/+11That'll teach cavic not to get cocky.
- brstilson, on 11/26/2008, -1/+12It's really obvious that Phelps has done nothing but focus on swimming his entire life. His body language and mannerism just SCREAMS "socially awkward."
- roctimo, on 11/26/2008, -2/+9Michael Phelps: Who cares until 2012
- facelesscoward, on 11/26/2008, -1/+8No, that's God. What a bigot.
- pintomp3, on 11/26/2008, -1/+8michael falps?
- trpnblies7, on 11/26/2008, -1/+8He had a brief cameo on Entourage on Sunday. I had forgotten about him until then.
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+7Said the guy with zero gold medals.
- freynco, on 11/26/2008, -1/+8When is it bed time at the neverland ranch?
When the big hand is on the little hand! - mustang460, on 11/26/2008, -0/+6http://incompetech.com/gallimaufry/care_less.html
- RusH487, on 11/26/2008, -1/+7I was at the Ravens game this weekend waiting patiently (for 25min) to get in past the pat-down security with the rest of the loyal Ravens and Eagles fans. The line spilled out into the street and we were suddenly pushed back by a police escort leading a big ass Range Rover through the crowd to VIP parking. Minutes later, only slightly further up in line, we see this tall, shaggy-haired douchebag in a LaCost hat and D&G Bugeyed sunglasses moving up to the Female line (which was non-existent at this point). He then motions to one of the police officers and after a quick conversation and a handshake, Phelps turns around and waves his friends out of the line directly into the stadium... No pat down, nothing. Needless to say, he showed his true colors to hundreds of angry football fans who proceeded to yell and throw empty beer cans.
- Zuljin, on 11/26/2008, -1/+7What a fascinating current event!
- mrogi, on 11/26/2008, -2/+8Just because he exhausted all his sperm from banging groupies in the Olympic village doesn't mean he did not have energy to win more gold medals.
- indythought024, on 11/26/2008, -3/+8buried....for rosettastone
- groo68, on 11/26/2008, -3/+8And what an ***** too. (I'm not jealous, i support other gold metalists)
- PinkoCommie, on 11/26/2008, -0/+5It would have been nice if he broke out a line or two of that "Chinese" he supposedly learned. Mandarin or Cantonese? They never say...
- deadapostle, on 11/26/2008, -4/+9Is it just me, or does Michael Phelps selling Rosetta Stone not the most unrealistic commercial anyone has ever seen? He can't even speak English.
- Wuss, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4A coworker told me a similar event where she was at an Ocean City club and Phelps walked up to the front of the line, and when he wasn't let in immediately, he goes "Don't you know who I am?"
- chall2001, on 11/26/2008, -1/+5I love how so many people are bitching about this story.
Then I go check out the top dugg stories which consist of total "who gives a *****"-- Digg has really jumped the shark. - getbusyliving, on 11/26/2008, -0/+4No its true, he is a ***** scum bag.
- protodon, on 11/26/2008, -3/+6He's still a mouthbreather
- groo68, on 11/26/2008, -3/+6Just like back in nam. Yep, we really whooped them.
- Yimyack, on 11/26/2008, -1/+4What, to spend my entire life in a pool?
To look like a hairless sasquach?
To pitch Rosetta Stone?
No thanks... - inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3Yeah, but the dude can say he's best in the world.
- MrDoug, on 11/26/2008, -3/+6It's cool to have a "hero" again...kids need stuff like that.
- bezz, on 11/26/2008, -2/+5Aren't the olympics over?
- Yimyack, on 11/26/2008, -2/+5Never has the respect for an athlete fallen as quickly as it did with Phelps. Between seeing this guy in a ton of commercials & hearing some of the stories about him - he seems just damn cocky now.
- Synchro, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2Its a genetic mutation so he can use his head as a rudder under the water.
- RusH487, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2Yeah, I know, but everyone knew he was there and no one was bothering him... They weren't even taking pictures. The city of Baltimore really could have cared less. There's no reason he couldn't have waited in line with the rest of us. It might have made people like him more.
It's become glaringly obvious that he didn't win those medals for the USA, but for himself. - Dreamstate, on 11/26/2008, -5/+7Are we still talking about this... ?
- muntoed, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2Neither are there many African American swimmers winning Olympic medals despite having the great fortune of being born in that great bastion of sporting achievement.
- InfiniteNothing, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2You know what we should do for him, we should add more swimming to the Olympic games: 300 meter free style, 350 meter free style, 750 meter free style... Then he'll win more metals and US will again top the gold count
- j0ew00ds, on 11/26/2008, -4/+6Of course the comment is largely stupid, but at least a small part of his success is owed to the opportunity given to him in the U.S.A. There aren't exactly that many top-class swimmers from the Caribbean despite a surplus of water...
- ilmickeyli, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2that's what she said
- ilmickeyli, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2i didn't even see him.. lawl.. was he seriously in it?
- blix797, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2Damn it, the olypmics are over! I don't care about horse-face anymore.
Back me up here, people, I can't be the only one who thinks he's an ugly *****. He's got dumbo ears for chrissakes! - PinkoCommie, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2dugg for metalists
- cawpin, on 11/26/2008, -8/+10America, ***** YEAH!
- inactive, on 11/26/2008, -0/+1to micheal phelps
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f162/YDKJMF/AlBu ... - jun2san, on 11/26/2008, -0/+1Apparently his sperm are good swimmers too.
- unknown32, on 11/28/2008, -0/+1Holly ***** , for everyone that dig me down, then give me a reason... Your DEFENDING Michael telling the rest of Team USA to go ***** themselves because he wants the spot light in London ??
Just an observation : Closing ceremonies while Kobe and the "Redeem team " is with the rest of the Athletes celebrating. Michael ***** off half a cross the world to be a part of the London hand off. I just found it the pinical of arrogance. "Thank you USA for all of the training funding but hey its all about Michael !"
What Michael did was amazing, but I was taken back on that act.
Someone give me the counter point to this would be nice ? I understand an athlete should think about himself but the Closing ceremony isn't about that. -
