Awe! That's so cute! An asshat that likes it when people's freedoms are trampled on all in an effort to make a buck (I refer to DuPont investors getting weed criminalized). While it's all swimming. It is swimming in different ways and no one has ever dominated in the Olympics like he did. Going 8 for 8 events is ridiculous. There's a reason that even any of the runners only enter about 3 events at best. Sprinters don't usually do distance and vice verse. Phelps did it all and pulled off being the best at every one of them.

I highly doubt you've actually met Phelps in person to make that conclusion, and i've yet to see a video of him that exhibits his "douchebag" qualities. He seems educated and good-willed; i don't see the problem.
Just because his wardrobe and style of dressing doesn't fit your likings or isn't how you dress, doesn't make him a douche bag.
I haven't seen any extreme "4 popped collars" pictures of him, or the like, so because he dresses in the fashion that he feels comfortable with and if that is how he thinks he'll get girls and look good, then he should, by all means, be able to dress as he wants (moderately of course [not 4 popped collars]) without being insulted.
I don't see how else you want him to dress anyhow... he's 24.

On top of that, it's a plant (proven to shrink tumors), just like tobacco (Proven to be bad for you), and much less dangerous than alcohol which at one point was also illegal.
Let's just raise taxes on tobacco some insane amount to raise money, but not legalize a weed.

Even though the establishment loves putting non-violent offenders in prison, to get their numbers up in "fighting CRIME". It's always been about the money. They know they can't profit so they make it illegal.
