- AmyVernon, on 11/24/2008, -0/+19I would like to think I'd be able to go to the toilet by myself when I'm 90, nevermind run a marathon.
- jgregc, on 11/24/2008, -0/+16Hopefully they are encouraging it...
- BeShirtHappy, on 11/24/2008, -1/+13I would like to think I'd be able to run a marathon when I'm 90.
- XenoSNK, on 11/25/2008, -1/+10Fit enough to run a marathon, fit enough to do the nasty on their grandchild's bed?
- hugopolsky, on 11/25/2008, -0/+8You know what they say about 90-year-olds that run marathons!
- inactive, on 11/24/2008, -1/+8Kudos to granny for gettin out there, I hope she makes it ;O
- baldboy7, on 11/25/2008, -0/+6I would like to think I'd be able to run a marathon in my lifetime.
- supermanly, on 11/25/2008, -0/+6Disgusting, absolutely disgusting, horrible images in my head.
Dugg. - BeShirtHappy, on 11/24/2008, -0/+5I know. That's what I was thinking. I feel like I'd be doing good to be able to walk by myself, much less run.
- goeric, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4I can't even run a marathon and I'm only 20.
*****. - digginestdog, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4You can. I just ran my first marathon a few weeks ago, and if you'd have asked me two years ago I would have said that never in a thousand years would I ever run a marathon. I think pretty much anyone in reasonable shape can do it with the right preparation. It's all about deciding you WILL do it.
- NorthMass, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4Why shouldn't she do this if she wants to? How dare someone who is old decides to exercise and try to do something amazing.
- Jeffler, on 11/25/2008, -0/+4nobody cares ctcat
- Nistelrooy, on 11/25/2008, -1/+4I couldnt even run a marathon now, let alone at 90 years old.
- inactive, on 11/24/2008, -3/+6If I live to 90 that will be a world record ;)
- thegrantman, on 11/25/2008, -0/+3Why not? She already did the life marathon by reaching 90.

- tamman2000, on 11/25/2008, -0/+2digginestdog is right...
I started running 10 years ago because I realized that I was getting kinda fat. 8 years ago I did my first marathon, and I have done at least one marathon or ultra marathon each year since... I have lost 70 pounds, and I got a 6 pack at 30 years old (never had one before).
Just start running, take it easy at first, and build up SLOWLY, and you can run a marathon in a couple of years. - th3great1, on 11/25/2008, -0/+2dont forget this guy either
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/201 ... - DrewPeacock, on 11/25/2008, -0/+2***** you guys are over-achievers. I would like to think I'll reach 90 at all.

now where did I put my running shoes.... - 1professional, on 11/25/2008, -0/+1great example of how exercise and a healthy diet can keep you going. And why shouldn't she run in the marathon if she wants to, however much she would have to train to do it. Good on her, wonderful example to other seniors. Life does NOT stop at 60 or 65....it goes on as long as you want it to.
- tamman2000, on 11/25/2008, -0/+1you could in a year or two, if you start working at it now...
- Zervaman, on 11/25/2008, -0/+1Damn, this makes me feel ***** lazy as hell.
Thanks a lot Digg, now I'm going to have to go to the gym today... - inactive, on 11/25/2008, -0/+1Maybe she's loaded and they're anxious for that inheritance.
- reignbow, on 11/25/2008, -0/+0To stop her they'd have to catch her...
- JustinNoland, on 11/25/2008, -0/+0No, you won't.
- tbusot, on 11/25/2008, -0/+0Unreal - here are her '04, '05', '06, '07 Honolulu Marathon results at Athlinks.
To keep this up for 9 hours at 90 years old is simply amazing.

Sorry, it doesn't count if you just ride a train for 26 miles. - dngermouse, on 11/24/2008, -9/+7Why is her family allowing her to do this?
- painting, on 11/25/2008, -2/+1What a, title, is stupid.
