Many consider Eddy Merckx to be the greatest cyclist of all time. If Lance can win a few more TDF or other grand tour victories then he will be making a case as the best ever. Stories like that are fun to watch play out.

  • ohcoaster, on 12/02/2008, -0/+1this is going to be very interesting to see what happens between armstrong and contador. knowing lance's drive to win, i seriously doubt he will willingly ride for contador. he wouldn't have came out of retirement to be a domestique. look for lots of in-team attacking and drama. also interesting is ivan basso is back from his suspension and will be riding the giro and possibly tdf which will make for some more competitive racing.
