- diggduggjoe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Well, thinking more about it, it makes sense. The helium in a balloon lifts the balloon. Tape the balloon to the ball and see how much heavier it would be. You would never notice the difference. So, the opposite would be true subtracting the weight of a balloon.

Well, now that I live closer to Baltimore I play in a different league, but they're all pretty much the same. It's all an excuse to get out and meet people. Almost all the players are 22-32 and also tend to be professionals. A lot of people have gotten together -- it's where I met my girlfiend, and some of my friends have even gotten married after meeting at kickball. If you're looking for a good group of people to hang out with and get drunk with every week, kickball works out pretty well, because it feels like you're playing a real sport, when it's really 45 minutes of an easy game, and then 3-4 hours of getting drunk next to an elementary school or at a bar (and the bars always throw out specials to members).
