- AmyVernon, on 11/17/2008, -3/+42This quote made me lol: "Why we always have to borrow the worst of the Western world is beyond me."
- GamingForever, on 11/17/2008, -3/+36"But I will not have them dressing up in short skirts, as it would be against our culture and traditions. Our audience won't accept it."
I'm sure the men in the audience would. :) - inactive, on 11/17/2008, -2/+24No it won't.; We might have ***** up laws but they aren't that ***** up.
- Cglass, on 11/17/2008, -2/+21Great a bunch of women yelling at you with the one saving grace taken away.
Sounds like nagging to me. - dariusm5, on 11/17/2008, -4/+23OMG, I see an ankle!
- clickwir, on 11/17/2008, -4/+19"Our audience won't accept it."
*****. Religion is no match for the male sex drive. Toss some skirts out there and watch the fun. - Thinkerofthings, on 11/17/2008, -7/+21I was thought cricket was sort of gay, but after looking at those male cheerleaders... I now realize how manly the players are in comparison. I'm still not watching though
- BullHunter, on 11/17/2008, -3/+14Good thing they are wearing the English colors! Who are they supporting again?
- leerayIG88, on 11/17/2008, -3/+11you will watch it and like it.
- bigpun, on 11/17/2008, -2/+10There's dude cheerleaders.... wtf...Only Homer Simpson could pull that off
- kronix2, on 11/17/2008, -0/+7"English colours" are red and white. You're thinking of Britain, and there's no British cricket team.
- RealmDown, on 11/17/2008, -1/+8"Sari about that, Chief."
- aserer511, on 11/17/2008, -0/+7a pity. a lot of indian girls are beautiful
- Duvali, on 11/17/2008, -0/+6what a horrible ratio.

- indubitably, on 11/17/2008, -2/+8ur doin it rong
- idreamwideyed, on 11/17/2008, -0/+5what do you call people who are from England then? Englanders?
- RobotBuddha, on 11/17/2008, -0/+5Before getting too proud of how openminded we are, remember the jackson nipslip? I saw a summery of just how much of a legal uproar it caused, not even counting the public reaction, and it was shocking. We're a little further along as a culture, people under 30 or so are a lot further along, but as a whole we're still pretty terrified of the naked human form.
- tushyd, on 11/17/2008, -0/+5Um... those aren't saris....
- borez, on 11/17/2008, -1/+6That's just not cricket!
- diggproof, on 11/17/2008, -2/+7That shoulder's making me so horny. What a tease
- DarkBlueAnt, on 11/17/2008, -0/+5I bet their cheers are like wacky Bollywood movies... and like 40 minutes long.
- haikuFU, on 11/17/2008, -0/+4or naan and rogan josh
- junskey, on 11/17/2008, -3/+7buried for non skimpy costumes
- theOster, on 11/17/2008, -0/+4"i just came"
- Bitties, on 11/17/2008, -1/+5Or Riya Sen
http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=riya%20sen ... - hasiabh, on 11/17/2008, -0/+4those are acutally the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders. They were hired by Vijay Mallaya for the Bangalore Royal Challengers for the first few weeks of the IPL. They were accosted by the locals so many times that they were forced to leave midway during the season, and will not come back. Its a shame. They were the only thing that made a lot of the people watch the Royal Challengers, the team ended at the bottom of the table.
- MrBogard, on 11/17/2008, -0/+4If Cheerleaders are the worst of the Western world, I must have horrible taste (and I love it).
- stutimandal, on 11/17/2008, -0/+4They are not wearing sari.
- Jsmuli2, on 11/17/2008, -0/+4This is a Cheerocracy!
- chocula78, on 11/17/2008, -1/+5That's because the borrowed Redskins cheerleaders. They should have gone with the Eagle's Cheerleaders. Way hotter.
- SuperSunny, on 11/17/2008, -0/+4It's not religion, it's culture. Most Christians from India dress the same as the Hindus in the same village.
It's all culture and tradition. Oh, this article is BULL, Indians will most likely accept skimpy cheerleaders. Ever seen a recent Bollywood flick? All bikini and skimpy - arjie, on 11/17/2008, -3/+6Really? As far as I know it went like this:
How distasteful! *ogle* *ogle ogle* Horrible! *ogle ogle* Culture!
Really man, friends of mine went to the matches. - temporaryescape, on 11/17/2008, -1/+4Who wants to see Indian guys in skimpy costumes anyway?
- irishjays, on 11/17/2008, -0/+3OMG! like, um, that is like so good for like poor countries, to like, be involved, and cheer!
- chocula78, on 11/17/2008, -2/+5Does every other team in India have a cow as a mascot? I'm really curious. It'd be kind of like the bald eagle here.
- AMSRay, on 11/17/2008, -0/+3Thanks for the mammaries!
- LostOnion, on 11/17/2008, -0/+3Why? You want him?
- spiridon, on 11/17/2008, -1/+4Great!
Lots of camel toe :-P - fluffyturtle, on 11/17/2008, -1/+4WTF, there seems to be four guys and two girls... How is that a cheerleading squad?
- Bitties, on 11/17/2008, -3/+6Indian supermen (and women)!
- notman, on 11/17/2008, -0/+3"but without skimpy costumes" ... thank god. After seeing that image, I don't want to see any more skin. Especially on those guys
- chuckDontSurf, on 11/17/2008, -1/+4or priya rai
- Dotcommer, on 11/17/2008, -0/+3With those kinds of cheerleaders in that pic? Yeah, i'd say so actually. *shudder*
- Culero, on 11/17/2008, -0/+3fap fap fap
- Supersh1t666, on 11/17/2008, -3/+6Buried for having more guys than gals
- memper, on 11/17/2008, -2/+5If you're going to sell the image of women, the amount of clothing has very little to do with the moral issues. You're selling the image or you aren't; there isn't some playful middle ground of dabbling in the commerce of the female body. Allowing the choice of clothing to dictate the sexual nature of a woman is the road to blaming a victim of rape on her choice of sexy clothing. By cladding these woman in some arbitrary costume of morality, they fetishize the opposite.
- still0lil0wagon, on 11/17/2008, -1/+4check out the gay guy on the left
