They all had serious body armour and big spikes in their tyres. There were some awesome pictures, though I can't find anything right now...

  • kyleajohnson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Last winter I made some homebuilt studded ice tires by driving 200 sheet metal screws from the inside out of an old mountain bike-tires, it worked like a charm...made a wicked sound when I rode on bare pavement, it scared pedestrians!

    This is the first time I have ever watched the channel...(Sentana or something like that)
    But hurling has to be the craziest sport around...
    The goalies... if they are called goalies... I really don't know... Could be the craziest people in the world...
    Having what looks like a baseball being hit towards your general direction by some guy trying to knock your teeth out... Hurling could be the greatest game around...

    Now that's a sport...
