- digitaldd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Anyone notice how young Tony Hawk was in some of those 1981 issues. he looks about 9, and was probably like 10 or 11. Other fun stuff the old ads for music and the music reviews, I mean there are several ads for an album by Romeo Void in a few issues and if ever a band was killed by MTV they're definitely one. Also there are reviews of music by U2 (the picture of the band is priceless). Not exactly what I would call Skate music, most of the skaters I knew were into metal or punk.

Sorry i mention i had the Jim Thiebaud Joler mine was the second Version after the sued him and made him change the Batman Joker to a genric Villan , still i didn't know that until i found out today haha aw well the board was still cook to me
I had the Sergi Ventrua board as well ( it was passed down as a starter board) from a friend, lets just say it was well broke in hhaha
Christain Hosoi owned that board, it had a HammerHead shape to it
Boards today suck ass compared to back than - oopspoops, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Thrasher is the worst now. It toots its own horn about being the only "true skate-mag" when it costs more than Transworld but with just as many ads and far less content (especially good photos). I wish Thrasher died instead of Big Brother

It was a San Monica Airlines board Skater Jim Thiebaud. He was ranked 31st in the World hahaha but it was an awsome board
