- CaptainNoPants, on 01/11/2008, -3/+9sure are a lot of dummy accounts joining today...
- nmeadata, on 01/11/2008, -1/+6Dugg it because it does not have any positive ratings on comments, let me know the why.
- padrebuf, on 01/11/2008, -3/+8so blatantly obvious too. disgusting.
- chaosium, on 01/11/2008, -3/+7Holy crap, what a spam effort.
- Birukun, on 01/14/2008, -1/+4Just got the email myself. Don't bury it like MSM buries Ron Paul.....
- Garzan, on 01/11/2008, -4/+7Whatever you think of the marketing, this is without a doubt the best training I've experienced. I can easily recommend the value of the training to anyone without any reservations.
- azbanks, on 01/14/2008, -1/+4Digg can THANK Front Sight for the new members. I wouldn't be on digg if it weren't for the email from Dr. Piazza. Front Sight is the best!! Hey Cp'n, maybe all the "dummy accounts" are people who want to help Front Sight get the word out?
- NastyTuna, on 01/11/2008, -1/+4Dr. P is always on the ball and helpful with any questions.
- rorimandi, on 01/13/2008, -1/+4Yeah, I haven't used Digg in a while, but I saw the "digg it" button on his new page. This is actually real, new interest from a group of people who mostly don't have Digg accounts - that is what you're seeing. Call it SPAM or dummy accounts if you want, OR try putting some content up here that is interesting to Gun owners and 2ND amendment advocates. Then you'd see a bunch of today's new user names stick around to comment on that too, probably. Or maybe not. Ignatius Piazza is a standalone, upfront, one-of-a-kind guy. This is definitely not a spam effort, unless a whole lot of people can be considered to be spamming when they get interested in something. Every one of these people is probably real. I've seen firsthand the support Naish gets and it's unreal. He really is a tremendously patriotic and compassionate person, while at the same time driven to accomplish real change for 2nd amendment rights. And the free gun offer is truly unheard of. It's like being told by the DMV that they'll give you a car if you just are willing to learn how to drive one. If I sound like SPAM - or these other people sound like spam - then possibly you are jaded, or don't agree with the message.
- NAZARENOFS, on 01/11/2008, -4/+6I am a First Family member and I can't wait to attend my first class!
- rickoshay42, on 01/11/2008, -4/+6This place is outstanding! Some friends and I will be going next month for the 4 day Defensive Handgun Class. I just wish I had found it 20 years ago.
- Garcin, on 01/11/2008, -5/+7I have been to this facility, and others of its sort elsewhere. IMHO, I find it to be the best and most comprehensive I've ever visited. Recommended to all!
- Rubicon01, on 01/11/2008, -5/+7Terrific offer. One day I hope to have the money to be able to do this, even if I have to wait & pay the full ticket. An invaluable program & offer by what I have investigated & learned is an outstanding organization providing a terrific resource for those interested in gun rights and using firearms responsibly.
- DarrellM5, on 01/11/2008, -4/+6I'm a member and I've attended 2 courses to date with many more planned. I wish this free gun offer had been available when I first looked into Front Sight. The training is incredible and blows away all of the firearms training I ever received in the military. It's no wonder that many of the attendees are military or law enforcement.
- RideMore, on 01/11/2008, -5/+7I've been to Front Sight several times and they are tops. Great people. Great training. This is a *very* generous offer.
- JSO85360, on 01/11/2008, -4/+6Have not had the chance to take any classes yet, but as an LEO, I am looking forward to training there someday.
- winker45, on 01/11/2008, -5/+7Been there, done that; and loved it! Hubby and I bought memberships. We highly recommend Front Sight.
- comtac, on 01/11/2008, -4/+6Many of my friends have a problem with the hard sell salesman approach of the advertisements but I have trained there a half dozen courses and that training is top notch. I'm ex-military and have done other training. This is the best. I've never heard ANYONE dish the training.(Nearly everyone gags at the sales pitch. ha, ha).
- cyborgmind, on 01/11/2008, -4/+6One day I WILL do this training...
- hecate99, on 01/11/2008, -4/+6I have a membership at Front Sight, and their training is the best.
- captdude, on 01/11/2008, -4/+6Super Deal to attend such a quality training program at a first rate facility. My wife and I are members and we have invited all of our friends to join us too.
- AstroDiver, on 01/11/2008, -2/+4Front Sight is a great place for firearms training. Top notch! I've been there twice and bought a membership and then I up graded that membership a year ago.
This is a great offer for the firearm, courses and other goodies. For what you are getting, you can't beat the price! Jump on it while you can. - JMTierney, on 01/12/2008, -0/+2I'd like to correct my own comment regarding FS purpose. As stated by baquetteman two comments lower - FS purpose is "to positively change the image of gun ownership in our lifetimes and protect our great country from all enemies-- foreign and domestic-- by training law abiding citizens to levels that far exceed law enforcement and military standards, without any boot camp mentality or drill instructor attitudes." This is much more powerful purpose then my weak paraphrase.
- cycleworx, on 01/11/2008, -2/+4First rate instructors! Graduate of Four-Day Defensive Handgun Curriculum first time attended but was a real challenge. This class helped greatly my IDPA standing the last two years! thanks Front Sight
- riscamjp, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2i've been to a 4 day Rifle course years ago - i have a friend who is disabled in a wheelchair and i wondered about bringing him - are you in a wheelchair? did you find it easy/hard to navigate?
- 2Hotel9, on 01/11/2008, -5/+7Being a life long weapons user and owner, as well as a veteran, I always tell people to get properly trained. Dr P and his associates and facilities are top notch, and his fervent support of all Americans to own and be properly prepared to utilize firearms is in the finest tradition of our Founding Fathers. I highly recommend Frontsight, both in person and online.
- dannreed, on 01/11/2008, -2/+4 I've got my 4 day training certificate, but being disabled and a single parent I've got to save up for a while for airfare and a place to stay, but hopefully I'll be able to make it out there next year. I can't wait.
- WhiskeyWrites, on 01/12/2008, -2/+4Because the comments mostly seem to have come from accounts that started on the same day this was submitted?
- n7uny, on 01/12/2008, -1/+3I've bought a certificate and plan on treating myself after I complete my paramedic course. I am thinking of buying one for my son, so I will have someone to go with.
- Kodabromide, on 01/11/2008, -4/+6I'm looking forward to getting training at Frontsite!
- rmartin67, on 01/15/2008, -1/+3I just opened up my email from Front Sight and signed up on digg to check out the information and I like what I am reading. So I am real and I like information.
- dalamar9621, on 01/12/2008, -1/+3I am currently a Patriot First Family looking to upgrade to the Diamond membership that is being offered. I have yet to attend my first course. In my opinion this will be the best purchase I have ever made. Once you are a member there are many offers out for you in particular that will blow your mind!
- safeways1217, on 01/15/2008, -1/+3How Ironic that you said this "But if you are going to let fear dictate how you behave".
Fear has dictated how a great many people have behaved regarding guns, Politicians have walked the line for fear of armed reprisal, Adolph Hitler and Emperor Hirohito both stated that it would be disastrous to attempt to invade the US because we had an armed and well trained populous. You use a condescending tone and in the end all you did was show that you are a biased, uninformed, idiot. BTW, I am not a gun nut or any other label you wish to heap on me. I am however highly experienced with firearms and am in fact one of the group that idiots like you think should be the only ones with guns. I would hate to see that happen because then we would actually be outnumbered and probably have to focus on just getting home alive at the end of each shift rather than trying to keep order on the streets. Guns in the hands of responsible people=good thing, guns in the hands of law enforcement, the military, and crooks with none in the hands of the public=daily slaughter in the streets. Get some education on the facts Dave before you start slinging libtard slogans like gun nut. - CavScout, on 01/15/2008, -0/+1As a soldier i took the 4 day select M16 course along side the 4 day defensive handgun and 4 day tactical shotgun. The things i learned from those courses saved my butt over in Iraq and Afghanistan. I strongly recommend the 4 day defensive handgun to anybody who carries concealed.
- fsufanaz, on 01/16/2008, -0/+1Great offer I just wish I was able to take him up on it
- fsand03, on 01/16/2008, -0/+1Front Sight Training is great. You don't know what you don't know until you go!
- Jeff82, on 01/15/2008, -0/+1Haven't been there yet but I've got a training certificate coming after becoming a life member in GOA. I've talked with the good Dr. when trying to arrange some group training (which unfortunately fell through on my end) and he was a real pleasure and very accommodating to work with. I look forward to using this certificate and hopefully will be able to work into even better arrangements! (Family member of some type!)
- jaybirdd, on 01/15/2008, -0/+1 The idea, and then putting into practice, the schooling and facility to teach everyone how to properly handle a weapon to defend themselves and loved ones as well as their country, is to be commended. Frontsight appears to be top of the line.
- ten24ten8, on 01/16/2008, -0/+1Another great program from Dr. Piazza. Front Sight has by far the best handgun training out there...
- rmartin67, on 01/17/2008, -1/+2Get a life.
- Phischerman, on 01/16/2008, -0/+1I got hooked in 2001. Now all my grandkids have memberships. Keep the legacy going!
- jinxedjohn, on 01/14/2008, -1/+2I am not a member yet, but I will be in the next year or so. I hope to attend my first class then. I am waiting for my back to heal up enough to allow me to go! I have done a lot of training while in the Military back in the late '70's, but I have read a lot about Front Sight and I believe they are the among the best out there! I have never heard of any of the other training schools offering free training for teachers or anybody else for that matter! I have links for Dr P. on my Colorado American Cold War Veteran's website and I support them 100%
- Dalaigh, on 01/14/2008, -1/+2I am of the USMC inactive reserves. My review of the trainning offered at Front Sight shows it to be as good as any we received-- better than most.
- ChiaDad, on 01/14/2008, -1/+2Liked what I saw and read about. As soon as I can arrange logistics, I plan to take their handgun course.
- rorimandi, on 01/13/2008, -1/+2You just have to write Naish about this if you want it - he's told me he reads all his emails personally.
- riscamjp, on 01/14/2008, -1/+2I took a 4 day rifle course years ago, with friends who belonged even farther back than that. it was AMAZING and i thot i could 'handle' a rifle...boy did i learn a few(dozen) things - the instructors were so supportive, and even the toughest old bird gave me some praise on the last day!! ( never worked so hard in my life but if i could do that i can do anything now) I went to bed at nite with my arms aching so bad i nearly cried but it was totally worth it at the end. I didn't give up they make it easy to succeed! GO and be amazed.
- wrightcrew, on 01/14/2008, -1/+2An outstanding offer from an incredible organization! My wife and I attended one course there last fall and signed up to be first family members. We're headed back in a couple of weeks for another course. The facility is great and the instructors are first rate.
- safeways1217, on 01/15/2008, -1/+2We are all firm believers in the training that Front Sight offers and when Dr. P asked us to share OUR view of his system here we jumped at the opportunity. People should be rating the comments based on content. I wonder if the subject matter is causing people to automatically give negative ratings.
- Pooshkabart, on 01/14/2008, -1/+2Front Sight is for real, so is the free gun offer, and I was smart enough to sign up for this deal. Hopefully this DIGG community can take advantage of the free DVD and free newsletters from Dr. P, as every American can learn more about the importance of the 2nd amendment -- just behind the 1st - freedom of speech.
Owning a gun may not be for everyone, but everyone benefits from good-guy gun owners who expand their education and training. - ianto94, on 01/16/2008, -0/+1I took the 4 day handgun course last October, became a member in November, went back for the hand gun skill builder and tactical scenarios courses in Dec. and just upgraded my membership to Diamond. I'm looking forward to several more courses this year. Learned a hell of a lot regarding hand guns and look forward to learning to shoot shot gun, rifle and fully auto weapons and take the self defense courses as well. Only wish I lived closer to Las Vegas.
