It's always been a place to find unique observations from Alta personalities. Bill Deleo is an old friend and amazing artist. And a great wildland firefighter!
- chamrick61, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This story almost makes me cry!! I moved here a year ago and have yet to learn backcountry skiing (even though I worked for Backcountry.com). I used to come to Utah in the 90's to ski and always ended my trip at Alta. It was the first out West black run I ever made and after the "agony of defeat" wipe-out I haven't looked back since. I love Alta just for the reasons Farmer Dave does. Rock On Framer Dave!!
