That is an excellent piece of advice. One of my biggest pet peeves is when you get an injury and everyone's gasping and panicking. I had an ingrown hair on my knee while it was in a groin to ankle cast and that hurt, but what you went through . . . . . oh that sucks.

I can still feel that pain again in my arm from watching videos like this or thinking of that kind of thing happening again. Oh well, nice post

I broke my arm in a similar way and I can honestly say that it was less painful then a hard punch in the arm. The only sucky parts are the cast and the weird feeling of not being able to control your wrist.

Same thing happened when I dislocated and fractured my ankle in a skateboarding accident. My left foot was pointing off in a completely disfigured position and at the time, all I could think of was "Wow, that looks pretty ***** up." It wasn't until I got to the hospital and sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes that I was thinking "Son of bitch, this hurts!"
When they shot me with morphine, everything felt instantly better. - fnkydonuts, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2lol yep. when i broke my arm i was snowboarding at the mountains, had to go to the hospital up their where all they did was take an xray. then had to sit in a car for 3 hrs to get home. after about 10 min in the car. extruciating pain lol

I broke both my tibia and fibula at the same time, and it was displaced similar to the way that kid's arm was (except it was my leg) and it really doesn't hurt that bad. It just feels like a good dead arm, except it continues for a long period of time. I actually remember laughing about it as it was going on. Once the adrenaline gets going, it doesn't really bother you that much.
