- Snoosy, on 01/21/2009, -0/+15Does this mean we'll see ads other than CONDOMDEPOT.COM on someone's ass?
- inactive, on 01/21/2009, -0/+12Actually, Fedor Emelianenko is that fighter, hes ***** huge in other places in the world, he'll catch on in america soon enough, starting with destroying Arlovski this weekend.
- piratearggghhh, on 01/22/2009, -0/+12I can't wait for this weekend's Fedor vs. Arlovski Affliction fight.

- unclejimbo88, on 01/22/2009, -0/+5That's because it's badass.
- almondfilter3, on 01/22/2009, -0/+5Beating the ***** out of boxing, they'd be stupid not to
- Hetman, on 01/22/2009, -0/+4MMA is the ***** that is why. I would rather watch it than a lot of other sports. And I am not even into violent sports like that. Baseball is my favorite sport for God sake.
- sjps220, on 01/22/2009, -0/+4haha I was going to say the same thing. They must be thrilled with the attention all these ass ads are getting them. They sponsor so many people.
- Hetman, on 01/22/2009, -0/+3It is just as homoerotic as basketball. All basketball is, is a bunch of dewd pressing there ass against each others *****. It does fine. I am sure MMA will also.
- JigoroKano, on 01/22/2009, -0/+3I like the way the QB reaches his hands between the center's thighs in American football.
- painting, on 01/22/2009, -0/+2yes, and he doesn't have the physique of a stereotypical fighter. Pure talent.
- inactive, on 01/22/2009, -0/+2If america cant like Fedor, then our country sucks.
- sinurgy, on 01/22/2009, -0/+2Until his recent loss, I thought Uriah Faber could play that roll very well! If he gets on another win streak and WEC can get a little more "mainstream", he could be the one.
- inactive, on 01/22/2009, -0/+2MMA is probably the most skillful 1 on 1 competition out there right now. It requires a good equal amounts of both physical and mental skills.
- roflmcwaffles, on 01/22/2009, -0/+1MMA is still a young sport, so to see the UFC move up from malt liquor to Bud Light in such a relatively short amount of time is heartening to see as a fan.
Of course, not everybody gets MMA, but give it another generation until we see the younger fans grow up and start generating incomes (and with many of those young fans taking up jiu-jitsu and wrestling and muay thai with aspirations of fighting, creating a younger and more talented crop of fighters ), and you'll see MMA really skyrocket in terms of popularity. - FelixdaaHack, on 01/22/2009, -0/+1MMA fighters getting NFL salaries...ddaaammmnnnnnn
- coreydoucorey, on 02/11/2009, -0/+1Not very clever post, but... Sweet, dugg it. http://manxl.org
- trollick, on 01/23/2009, -0/+1I do not relate to Tiger Woods at all.
- Hetman, on 01/22/2009, -0/+1Do you really believe it is going to end? I mean it has been getting better. With more rules and better fighters it has become better not worst. I personally did not like it when it first came about. Now it seems more refined and more like a sport than it did at the beginning.
- IRAcarbombs, on 01/22/2009, -0/+1See i dont see Fedor as that figure for the US because of the culture gap between the two. No doubt Fedor is a beast but hes lacking in personality, that would go a long ways in raising his appeal. You take a look at guys like Forrest or Rampage and they are great during interviews and exciting as well. Just seems like MMA is missing that one HUGE STAR!!!
- TimDigg, on 01/23/2009, -0/+1Fedor is huge...
Ask Dana White why Fedor Emelianenko isn't in the UFC.... - inactive, on 01/22/2009, -0/+1Great... three of my friends are pros.. that means I'm going to be friends with corporate whores. That would make me a sell out, cause I'm like.. so anti-establishment.. man..
but at least now I wont have to train in a gym that fails every building code ever.. someone will sponsor my team - frisk415, on 01/22/2009, -0/+1definitely not a fad
- akatsuki, on 01/22/2009, -1/+1homoeroticism worked for Top Gun and a bunch of westerns... it'll be fine in MMA too.
- raptorGT, on 01/22/2009, -1/+1I just found a reason to stop subscribing to UFC fights...
- ScottyAnimal, on 01/22/2009, -1/+1Except now I have to deal with meatheads when buying or eating, drinking, etc... said products.
- ZapZilla, on 01/22/2009, -0/+0GSP is prolly the prime example of an MMA fighter right now. Hes got the physique, personality, and all the skills. Anderson Silva is an incredible fighter too, but he can't really speak English thus not as marketable. Hopefully GSP wins this upcoming fight with BJ penn and then he'll be recognized as the real deal.
- IRAcarbombs, on 01/21/2009, -3/+2The one thing MMA is missing is a " Tiger Woods " esk athlete thats easily marketable and fans can relate to. There has been a couple that have come close like Silva, Randy or Liddell but seems like as soon as they have a poor performance or lose a fight they get put on the back burner for another up and comer. Rampage needs to land a NIKE deal stat
- xDynaBlade, on 01/22/2009, -5/+2They think plastering advertisements on half naked mens' asses while they beat the ***** out of each other is a good way to reach young male consumers?
- iDoraemon, on 01/22/2009, -9/+3The MMA fights I've seen apparently have half-naked dudes bear hugging each other. Hmm... :-\
- fuelcarddotorg, on 01/22/2009, -7/+1opening up to it because it's officially reached fad status. I cannot wait for it to end
