In our culture we're used to think that vacation spots in Brazil are the most dangerous places in the world, while most every other country is pretty safe. I know it's naive, but it's still the way many people think around here.
Another common misconception we have is that we tend to think Americans believe the US is the greatest, safest, prettiest, finest place in the wold, and everywhere else is a ****hole.
