- dha07030, on 11/16/2009, -5/+78Damn I wanted to see Lesnar vs Fedor
- Bonksnp, on 11/16/2009, -4/+49LUPUS.
- Tehrab, on 11/16/2009, -7/+47I will settle for Fedor vs. Dana White.
- entrancer1224, on 11/16/2009, -1/+41"I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too."
- jjh941, on 11/16/2009, -1/+38its never Lupus
- jts10, on 11/16/2009, -16/+43Never fight again? Well.. he can always go back to 'professional' wrestling
- erichw1504, on 11/16/2009, -3/+29"Alcoholism is a disease, but it's the only one you can get yelled at for having. Goddamn it Otto, you are an alcoholic! Goddamn it Otto, you have Lupus! One of those two doesn't sound right."
- donkz, on 11/16/2009, -3/+29I like how people say he's a bad fighter while he managed to plow thru UFC's best like a pain train. Maybe his MMA skills are not perfected, but he won the bragging rights in a very convincing manner. I hope he recovers and comes back. He's fun to watch.
- twiztidsinz, on 11/16/2009, -2/+27Let's see, there are wars going on, climate issues, there's terrorism, and all manner of important stuff going on.
And you're just posting on digg?
Not only are you just posting on digg, you're bitching about the above in your post on digg. - erichw1504, on 11/16/2009, -1/+24"An escalator can never break: it can only become stairs. You should never see an Escalator Temporarily Out Of Order sign, just Escalator Temporarily Stairs. Sorry for the convenience."
- KyleEatsCrayons, on 11/16/2009, -4/+25dana offered him plenty.. they did not want to have m1 global all up in their *****.
- mnemy, on 11/16/2009, -1/+21Wow, I think this is the first time I've seen Dana's name in the news and not thought "douche". It's good to see he's trying to take care of a fighter for a change.
I'm not a fan of Lesnar, but I hope they fix whatever the problem is and he makes a full recovery. - retrolab, on 11/16/2009, -0/+20Why is it always "4 EASY payments of something? No, I want 3 easy payments and one difficult one.
- UbIwerks, on 11/16/2009, -0/+19"i haven't slept for ten days because that would be too long."
- italirican, on 11/16/2009, -1/+19no matter what you think about the guy. this is horrible news. hope he gets better that way he can get his ass kicked Fedor.
- zekolas, on 11/16/2009, -0/+17Though I will not sight any official sources and have no proof to back this up.
1. I do live in the ND city where Lesnar is in the hospital and know people who work there
2. Have a friend that trains in Minnesota MMA where Lesnar trains.
According to them he is getting better, not worse. Remember Dana really likes to exaggerate stuff . I Remember DW also claimed on a YouTube video he will have an announcement that "Will not only change the face of UFC, but MMA". The big news turned out to be some TV deal in China.
Lesnar will fight again! - erichw1504, on 11/16/2009, -1/+18"A severed foot is the ultimate stocking stuffer."
- aliengoods, on 11/16/2009, -2/+17That was an incredibly clever comment. You must be the smartest kid with down's syndrome.
- pharoah247, on 11/16/2009, -3/+17Dana White is a drama queen, not a doctor. When the doctors that are treating Lesnar tell us that he might not fight again, then believe it. I don't believe anything that comes out of Dana White's filthy mouth..............
- SkinnerBox, on 11/16/2009, -0/+14I was in a bar, minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammable and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.
- Chooxo, on 11/16/2009, -0/+13Not to be cynical, but Lesnar is money. Of course Dana's taking care of him.
- EvilJelloMan, on 11/16/2009, -0/+13sarcoidosis
- javaroast, on 11/16/2009, -1/+14Now we can all wait for the UFC to introduce the new masked mystery championship contender
- defendliberty, on 11/16/2009, -0/+12I don't have a girlfriend. But I do know a woman who'd be mad at me for saying that.
- Splizxer, on 11/16/2009, -1/+13They took his job!
- blinkfink182, on 11/16/2009, -0/+12http://instantcrickets.com/
- twiztidsinz, on 11/16/2009, -1/+12"he couldn't execute a moonsault without landing on his own head."
I'd watch that. - endershalo, on 11/16/2009, -1/+12You're right.
As long as there are terrible things happening in the world, we should not have any source of entertainment whatsoever. In fact, why do we allow such a website like Digg to exist when it doesn't cover only stories about murder, rape, the plague, and how the world is going to end? I just makes me sick. - gardnmi, on 11/16/2009, -1/+11http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wa3P0S6o_-A
For those who don't know what he is talking aboot. - bobburn1, on 11/16/2009, -0/+9I'd like to see Rogan beat the hell out of "ahhell."
- aprycot, on 11/16/2009, -1/+10Just once I wish it would be lupus...
- christianw, on 11/16/2009, -0/+9fedor is half owner in global m1
strikeforce is willing (as was affliction) to share promotions for ALL their fights with global m1 just to get fedor to fight in their federation. i.e. theyre sharing ad revenue with global m1.
the ufc would NEVER do that.
fedor is making probably 20x more than he EVER made in pride right now.
think about it this way. take whatever job you have now. think about how much you get paid. then imagine me saying youre a chicken ***** because you wont go work part time at wal mart for minimum wage at 6 hours a week on the schedule. thats how big the difference is money wise.
the ufc has NO reason to partner with global m1. they dont need them and i dont blame zuffa for not even considering it. i wouldnt either. dana white also likes fedor as much as the rest of us. but he also understands fedor's position.
strikeforce is going to do VERY well for itself if it sticks with their cbs partnered free tv business model. fedor is getting a piece of all of it. at the end of the day its a business. - BluesFan, on 11/16/2009, -0/+9Marketing hype to sell tickets to his comeback fight,You watch!
- jerrolds, on 11/16/2009, -0/+9You're a preposition!
- dha07030, on 11/16/2009, -4/+13What does the number of fights he had have to do with him being sick?
- ChromaVita, on 11/16/2009, -0/+9Except for that one time it was Lupus.
- EvilJelloMan, on 11/16/2009, -1/+9DURK DER DURR!!!
- Mindsink, on 11/16/2009, -0/+8Getting buried bc their is not a shred of information pointing to his theory. Water is dry. Anyone can go around saying whatever they wish but lets make sense at least. Fedor has taken on all challengers and has fought wars in the ring. I think Fedor vs. Lesnar would have been great but full out greed kept that epic show from our eyes. Too bad, and even worse now that Lesnar is sick.
- dawgma, on 11/16/2009, -0/+81. One of your biggest stars comes down with a serious medial ailment.
2. Over-hype the medical condition by insisting and making sure everyone knows that he may never fight again.
3. Star undergoes surgery and.. surprise.. recovers fully and returns to the ring in spectacular fashion.
4. Profit.
Sorry for being cynical. I hope Lesnar does pull through in fighting condition. I just feel like White is covering his bets by telling everyone that he might never fight again. I don't think he should say anything like that until Lesnar has at least had his surgery and time to recover. - EvilJelloMan, on 11/16/2009, -6/+14Brock hit the moonsault many times on the independent circuit, and only botched it the one time at wrestlemania. His problem was that he was thrust into the spotlight way too fast without developing any skills beyond the physical.
If anyone likes him in the ufc, it's because he has completely dominated every fight he's had, except for the first one, which opened his eyes to "real" fighting. The guy is an incredible physical specimen, and a pure athlete the type of which has rarely been seen.
That said, he's also a giant *****, who tries to bring wrestling style theatrics to a real sport, and has probably shot up enough steroids to incapacitate a rhinoceros. But he's impressive in the ring.
Or was, before he got AIDS. You heard it here first. Brock Lesnar has AIDS. Someone said it on the internet, so it must be true. Please don't sue me Brock. Or break my neck. Especially the neck breaking part. - FormerBabby, on 11/16/2009, -0/+8People like a freakshow.
- Jnes, on 11/16/2009, -2/+9Maybe he has megacolon or crohn's disease.
- 4321234, on 11/16/2009, -0/+7As long as we're speculating, the intestines are loaded with human growth hormone receptors.
- jacobchak1, on 11/16/2009, -1/+7Thumbs up for megacolon.
Seems like a disease worthy of Brock "Coors Light" Lesnar - jbcorny, on 11/16/2009, -0/+6IT'S NOT A TUMOR...
- damack, on 11/17/2009, -1/+7I wanted to see that fight too.
It would have been a thrilling 9 seconds till Fedor armbared him. - mikebritton, on 11/17/2009, -2/+7Brock's intestinal disorder was caused by fear over fighting Fedor.
- christianw, on 11/16/2009, -0/+5@ahhell
is that you carlos mencia? - douggmc, on 11/16/2009, -1/+6Your assumption is wrong.
