- morpheus69, on 08/22/2008, -7/+42Grow up you juveniles... ***** is a VERY common name in Japan, there was even a Prime Minister named *****. By the way, when pronounced in Japanese it doesn't sound anything like Take ***** A. It sounds like Tah Kay She Tah.
- Munceenuts, on 08/22/2008, -2/+33These comments are *****.
- Grommy, on 08/22/2008, -0/+23What the *****?
- dilbert, on 08/22/2008, -5/+23Digg should have a "Puberty" section.
FYI: Her name is pronounced: Tah-Kay-She-Tah. (edit: Damn, morpheus69 beat me to it)
But then again, ignorance IS bliss. - CM23099, on 08/22/2008, -0/+17Only topped by the Aussie BMX rider at the Olympics who's named Kama Kaze.

- xxxana, on 08/22/2008, -2/+10I didn't even get the joke at first... It's Japan vs the US, and ***** is a common name in Japan... grow up, people.
- morpheus69, on 08/22/2008, -1/+8Well, you obviously don't speak Japanese. It is certainly not Tah "Kah" and there is definitely an "ay" sound.
There are five vowel sounds in Japanese, usually written in Romanization with "A I U E O" as follows:
A = あ pronounced like the "a" in aardvark
I = い pronounced like the "ea" in "meat"
U = う pronounced like the "oo" in "cool"
E = え pronounced like "ay" in the woman's name "Kay"
O = お pronounced like the "o" in "row"
Non-Japanese often mispronounce the "E" sound as if it were like the "e" in "etch", but it sounds much more like a long "a" sound.
So...
***** = たけした = 竹下 = Tah Kay She Tah - abdo, on 08/22/2008, -4/+10Seriously, it's just a Japanese family name. But I guess if you're 14, then it's HURR DURR
College humor? More like high school humor - diulei, on 08/22/2008, -1/+6Relatively common Japanese surname, I think. There's a street in Harajuku (you know, the one Gwen Stefani sings about) called ***** street for more laughs FYI.
