- Hoogie7Dowser, on 10/10/2007, -28/+2Meegook Bahboh Schekee....
- tonicboy, on 10/10/2007, -22/+41They're Korean, you ignorant god damn hicks
- plainOldFool, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6"Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?"
- theodenking, on 10/10/2007, -12/+23Nothing to do with the 16 and 21 kilaton atomic bombs dropped on major cities, then?
- TheSwashbuckler, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7More to do with being a country without a lot of natural resources and a code that suicide is honorable.
- jeffman12, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4what's a kilaton?
- rhinopig, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1It's like a Kiloton... except it Kill's-A-Ton!
- rcomegys, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6As far as I can tell, no one ever dropped atomic bombs on Korea.
- silversword990, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2That's hilarious!
- Omega19, on 10/10/2007, -1/+132I was expecting swordplay.
- super_spyder, on 10/10/2007, -20/+3i haven't watched it yet but im hoping for some karate or power rangers style suits to appear on them before they brawl, if not i will be rather disappointed.
- DiggMasterJ, on 10/10/2007, -0/+65I thought he was taking his shoe off to do some crazy karate *****
- sotopheavy, on 10/10/2007, -3/+5Mothra, god of peace stomps on feet to preempt any fights that may take place.
- internetinsider, on 10/10/2007, -2/+17This was just comical event of Korea Entertainer Baseball Players
http://buzz.playtalker.net/23 - gfair, on 10/10/2007, -5/+1Of course, because the only thing you know about Japan is that they are strange and used swords, of course. What a stereotypical assumption.
- luciferin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Right because whenever someone on the internet mentions swords and Asians he is a racist and not pointing out a stereotype in a comedic fashion.
- Renton, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2And they have huge, spiky hair that turns blonde when they're real mad.
- rcomegys, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You're all making a blanket assumption that they're Japanese. And they're not. They're Korean!
- squaretan, on 10/10/2007, -30/+1childish!
- Scynet, on 10/10/2007, -2/+16As opposed to hitting and kicking each others over a game like we're used to see? That, sir, is childish. The moment you can pull out something like this in real situations makes you a bit more mature.
- sparkmonkeyz, on 10/10/2007, -32/+40Can someone who understands Japanese please tell me what is going on?
- Paperthin, on 10/10/2007, -3/+123it's korean...
- Gir53457, on 10/10/2007, -3/+89Ball hits batter. Batter attacks pitcher with a vicious Captain Morgan Pose, Pitcher retaliates. Both teams pose over to the mound.
- peterzero, on 10/10/2007, -31/+2No you are all wrong!
They are Chinese!
:P- qwertydvorak, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9which kind of chinese are they ?
- kaenbin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10korean chinese
- qwertydvorak, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9which kind of chinese are they ?
- donsherio, on 10/10/2007, -11/+23That aint going to help... Cause its acutally Korean...
- Gir53457, on 10/10/2007, -2/+25Is there an echo in here?
- MarvinGalaxy, on 10/10/2007, -5/+11Is there an echo...nevermind...
- Gir53457, on 10/10/2007, -2/+25Is there an echo in here?
- lavawalker, on 10/10/2007, -1/+186This is a korean game that kids play. You're supposed to knock your opponent down while keeping your balance. Apparently the batter was a joker and the pitcher played along. I don't think this is usual in a korean baseball game.
- resplence, on 10/10/2007, -23/+4"Apparently the batter was a joker and the pitcher played along."
I don't know, both of them went into position almost simultaneously. I'd say it's fake.- iziizi, on 10/10/2007, -2/+15shut.the.*****.up.with.fake.calling
- resplence, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2*quit.calling.me.back.to.reality.so.i.can.enjoy.retardation.and.punctuate.every.single.word.like.an.idiotic.douchebag*
Seriously, what's with all the 13 year olds who joined digg on March 2007? - iziizi, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1i was just speaking slowly for you retard.
- resplence, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2*quit.calling.me.back.to.reality.so.i.can.enjoy.retardation.and.punctuate.every.single.word.like.an.idiotic.douchebag*
- desqjockey, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2seriously: it happened in real life, it is not a 'fake'
- resplence, on 10/10/2007, -5/+1I see what you did there.
- iziizi, on 10/10/2007, -2/+15shut.the.*****.up.with.fake.calling
- resplence, on 10/10/2007, -23/+4"Apparently the batter was a joker and the pitcher played along."
- crackintosh, on 10/10/2007, -13/+1Besides this being Korean, I don't even the Japanese understand the Japanese.
- mrgreenjeans, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8My head hurts.
- crimesaucer, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10Besides this being English, I don't even the English understand the English.
- getrealnow, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I see what you did there.
- TooTameJames, on 10/10/2007, -1/+26Easy way to identify the Korean language is if you a see word containing circular character. The ascetics of Chinese or Japanese kanji are square.
- Shiftgood, on 10/10/2007, -27/+2shut up nerd.
- DMBrown, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Shut up knob biscuit.
- rhinopig, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4You do realize what website you are on, right?
- MG111, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5All right! Let's condemn intelligence, everyone!
- nokaagnew, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=ascetics+
Perhaps you mean 'aesthetics'?
- Shiftgood, on 10/10/2007, -27/+2shut up nerd.
- m1ss1ontomars, on 10/10/2007, -6/+5Obviously this is Korean. Stupid non-Asians.
- adraft, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Oh yeah obviously because they look Asian and the writing is all in symbols. Wait a second.....
- themastersb, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1I hope next time the link for a video doesn't take me to a Korean site where some ads are not blocked.
- magus_melchior, on 10/10/2007, -1/+15"Can someone who understands Japanese please tell me what is going on?"
Japanese-American, but I'll give it a shot.
Some idiot who can't tell Japanese from Korean despite two clues (domain name, text in the video) posts a link to a Korean exhibition game, saying it's Japanese. You believed him.- Lamtd, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Believe it or not, the domain name is totally unrelated; koreus.com is a french website, and it has nothing to do with Korea, apart from the occasional video like this one.
- sevenhelmets, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1Because everyone who looks Asian must either be Japanese or Chinese. Thats like saying all white people are Americans when they could be Canadian, English, Australian, New Zealander, etc etc the list goes on...
I thought Diggers where more educated than this.....- tuntcickle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1cut him some slack, it was in the title
- almightyrufus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Ease up, everybody has a stupid day.
- Izzie, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1hey look it's jackie chan !
- SamboyLR, on 05/23/2008, -2/+18huh?
- Paperthin, on 10/10/2007, -9/+186That's Korean ya stupid shet.
- nymphetamine, on 10/10/2007, -3/+70"So, are you Chinese or Japanese?"
- eaasness, on 10/10/2007, -3/+19What Ocean?

- eaasness, on 10/10/2007, -3/+19What Ocean?
- flamingmb, on 10/10/2007, -22/+1its spelled "*****"
- Gir53457, on 10/10/2007, -19/+6Am I missing something here? Whats so funny about this comment?
- JuniorVX, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It's not funny it's a fact dumbass
- hanshasuro, on 10/10/2007, -1/+21Seriously. You'd think the koreus.com domain might have been a clue.
- Lamtd, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2...or not. Koreus.com is a french website unrelated to Korea. You'd think french text all over the page might have been a clue ;)
- jimminykriket, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2And any starcraft nerd could have told you MBC is a progaming channel. Jeeze.
- nymphetamine, on 10/10/2007, -3/+70"So, are you Chinese or Japanese?"
- forku, on 10/10/2007, -4/+30wtf?
- Oakie1, on 10/10/2007, -4/+31Hahaha can you imagine what would happen if they did that in the United States?
- peterzero, on 10/10/2007, -17/+6They are Canadians!
Look the characters on the screen, it is clearly Canadian!- Nitrodist, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Is that supposed to be a joke or just an insult?
- BossKey, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2In the United States, the other guy would have pulled out a gun.
- peterzero, on 10/10/2007, -17/+6They are Canadians!
- nooreazy, on 10/10/2007, -2/+41its a joke right?
- idugcoal, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2Come on, isn't it obvious?
- kaenbin, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Fail
- f8pc, on 10/10/2007, -4/+23Where are all the inset faces and people telling me how to react? Should I Oooooo or Ahhhhh?
- menichols, on 10/10/2007, -1/+26Instead of LOLlin, can someone please offer some explanation for this!?
- Gir53457, on 10/10/2007, -0/+48They're Korea actors doing a gag during a "Allstar" game.
- rupaw, on 10/10/2007, -2/+28That's sad. For a moment I thought that the Korean culture has a way to to substitue pure aggression with some sort of dance battle where nobody gets seriously injured.
But it was all acting, wasn't it?- Niteslag, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0 They were just smiling because they were winning >_
- rupaw, on 10/10/2007, -2/+28That's sad. For a moment I thought that the Korean culture has a way to to substitue pure aggression with some sort of dance battle where nobody gets seriously injured.

- justinjstark, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Reminds me of Joust.
- kagayaki1, on 10/10/2007, -2/+33Yeah, Korean. Look at the characters in the upper right of the screen. They don't do that weird ***** in Japan - they just run away.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyCksO5mktQ- AzNJuN, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3That's nothing compared to what some Japanese people actually think of...THAT's weird?...that's nothing!
- skyshock1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Ha! Well, if you're not quite that big, you have to kick the catcher first so he doesn't catch up to you when you charge the mound.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UD9nUK0jGlU&mode=related&search=
- Hanniballo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5that's a big WTF? funny though a lot more entertaining then pushing and shoving
- OrphanedOrphan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+48Apparently it is korean style. Anyways, for those confused, this youtube comment might help explain what is going on.
"the two teams are comprised of korean stars/entertainers, and the pitcher threw a bean bag instead of the ball. Out of frustration the hitter was gonna vent his anger at the pitcher.. but obviously cause they're all close and also for their image sakes they just turned it into that"- gbro, on 10/10/2007, -2/+23"but obviously"
No, not obviously!- milk93rd, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Obviously because it's moronic and the "pitch" came in at about 20 MPH
- gbro, on 10/10/2007, -2/+23"but obviously"
- PRlME, on 10/10/2007, -5/+4MXC!!!
- BarneyF, on 10/10/2007, -17/+25KOREAN you illiterate morans
- Chasuk, on 10/10/2007, -18/+9So, a moron calls fellow morons "morans." Classic!
- complexigon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+18http://memewatch.com/thelist/archives/pix/morans.jpg
Welcome to internet. - Jeeum, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Yes, it is classic. Please see complexigon's link.
- Neiby, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4A meme I've never seen before! Today was a good day.
- complexigon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+18http://memewatch.com/thelist/archives/pix/morans.jpg

- jakyll3010, on 10/10/2007, -5/+0um... what?
- brindon, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5but why the hoppy foot dance?
- Gir53457, on 10/10/2007, -2/+17They got a little Captain in them.
- richisthebest, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2what are they doing?!
- Soave, on 10/10/2007, -3/+14What the *****?
- MalachiConstant, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4Were any of those teams the Hyundai Unicorns?
- Gir53457, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4No, but they were prancing around like a bunch of fairies.
- KyleYankan, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1Porque?
- silentsuicide, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2They were playing chicken, object being is to knock the other person over with your shoulders.
- mebepin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2what is sad is that i know that hoppy foot game. it's also popular in Thailand. i used to play it with my Thai friend... it's called the knee game and basically you put one foot on your other knee and hop around until you fall over. whoever is left standing wins (meaning you can try to knock other people down!!)
and yes, it is korean... *sigh
- VegasKill, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4This reminds me of rejected cartoons- "Everybody DANCE!!!"
- donkeySays, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3WTF? I was expecting some Tae Kwon Do.
- DirkAlmighty, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12If you hit the batter in his dominant leg, you have a huge advantage.
- kikuchiyo11, on 10/10/2007, -10/+7Guire, you're stupid. This is obviously Korean, not Japanese.
- Guire, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1k
- austinmbonner, on 10/10/2007, -10/+1not japanese, lamers. it's korean.
- OkinawanMatt, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1They are Koreans, you dousche.
- Dundasbro, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Some comparison, just a video I found of an Australian Rugby League brawl - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vdQrAvLH2k
- donsherio, on 10/10/2007, -5/+3To Digg cause its funny...
or
To Bury for INACCURACY cause its KOREAN not JAPANESE... Get it right before you post!- jmaiurano, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I think we all get the fact it's Korean now.
- kurtcs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3This is real Japanese Baseball Brawl..! (9+ minutes) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LOYxx2UFak
- kurtcs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1And one more.. RUN FOR LIFE!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aw8iF9Zxaz0
- blumer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3That was actually really cool to watch. Two things I found interesting:
1) Most of the real brawls in that video appeared to be instigated by American players (#10 "Steve" in particular)
2) I don't think you could find that much footage of American players touching umpires, much less shoving and swinging. That seems to be the one immutable thing, here: You do not touch the umpire!
- maxhrk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1it make me laugh hard.
- kerouac906, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Future Korean Monty Python crew? Reminds me of the Ministry of Silly Walks...
- internetinsider, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2This was just comical event of Korea Entertainer Baseball Players
http://buzz.playtalker.net/23 - perrysan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9They are playing a Korean children's game called "chicken" where you hop on one foot while holding the other foot and try to knock down the other person (who is also holding one foot) while trying to keep your balance. I think it's meant to be a faux-brawl joke in this case.
- jadedcrypto, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0The game is called "takk seum" or something like that. Can't find it with Google right now.
- Cirieno, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1This is clearly the Seventh Day Advent Hoppist's Sunday league...
- thailand1972, on 10/10/2007, -3/+5koreus.com - it's just a conincidence that the site has "KORE" as the first 4 characters and the clip has distinctive circular Korean characters printed all over it.
No, they look Asian so they must be Japanese.
And, Austrians live Down Under doncha know?- Dundasbro, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1According to Bush they do.... :-
- Gdoubleod, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Lloyd: That's a lovely accent you have. New Jersey?
Lady at bus stop: Austria.
Lloyd: Austria! Well, then. G'day mate! Let's put another shrimp on the barbie!
- DonKarnage25, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Instant classic!
- teddoco, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Maybe not "obviously Korean" to those who do know a damn thing about Asia, but yes it's ***** Korean!!
- phatkat, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2Not Chinese. Not Japanese.
Korean. - Cavorticus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Look, it is simply funny. Would you prefer a fight?
- kronzdigg, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Got them to the front page of digg.....most exposure they have (or will ever) have
- TheHappyRobot, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3I am starting from the bottom and digging down everyone who said "its Korean not Japanese!!!1!" after the first one.
- davislanmr, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1I only wish Americans could learn something from this. They showed their anger and support, but no one lost control. Good for them
- Jeeum, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1It's a joke.
- adraft, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I only wish davislanmr could read some other comments. They show that this was a celebrity game and a joke.
- smacksaw, on 10/10/2007, -3/+3Dugg because you amuse me with the whole "All Asians are the same" bit. Man, that one never gets old. Next time try to submit a link on "Ancient Chinese Secret" commercial and some "ching chong chang" jokes while you're at it.
- adraft, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Or we can realize that not everyone can readily tell between the different Asian cultures with a glance at their baseball game. A third option would be don't act like such a sensitive baby.
- captaindoobers, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3both teams must really suck. there was like 4 people in the crowd...
- DariusMDeV, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1Will you people quit your crabassing. He said nothing about if the players were Japanese or Korean. He said the baseball was being played Japanese style. Who cares what language the people are speaking or the nationality of the of the players. I'm from Michigan AND I played football Aussie style once. It can be done.
- Jeeum, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4He did not say that baseball was being played Japanese style, he said "Baseball Brawl(Japanese style)" followed by "This is how you brawl at a Japanese baseball game". It is evident that the poster has no clue. Is there even such a thing as "Japanese style" baseball? Is that the way Koreans play? Possibly, but it seems unlikely that the poster knows anything about that.
- sj200, on 10/10/2007, -3/+0who ***** CARES?!?!?!? Get a life!!
