- rexykik, on 11/22/2008, -2/+37Unnecessary flips around trees and other ***** != parkour
Parkour is all about efficiency. - terriblelie, on 11/22/2008, -3/+22YAWN
- johnarelions, on 11/22/2008, -1/+18that was a pretty ***** edit
- jazino, on 11/22/2008, -4/+20I don't know if I would call that amazing. I am pretty sure I could do around half of that and I get a bit winded with anything more than two flights of stairs. The filming was a bit cheesy as well.
With that said the other half of what he did was pretty sweet. - selmer, on 11/22/2008, -3/+15Pretty good, I couldn't do it for sure, but I have seen much more amazing parkour work.
- Zaggy111, on 11/22/2008, -5/+16Or you can just get Mirors Edge
- DHracer, on 11/22/2008, -1/+11mediocre at best
- Grummond, on 11/22/2008, -2/+12Meh, seen much better ones.
- kplo, on 04/01/2009, -1/+8Hot? No. Cool? Yes.
- AndrewJC, on 11/23/2008, -0/+7Technically, that wasn't a Parkour-anything. It was just a guy doing a lot of stunts. He didn't have an objective point and wasn't travelling in a straight line, which are the two main focuses of Parkour. He was just jumping off a bunch of ***** and climbing things. Yeah, it's neat to see stunts done, but it's more impressive to see somebody get from point A to point B as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Shiftgood, on 11/22/2008, -6/+13Diggetts,
Does this do it for you? is this hot? or is it kinda really just silly? - 88chrisb, on 11/22/2008, -1/+8You are correct.
- theOster, on 11/23/2008, -0/+6i know i can't do any of these things, but there are better parkour-ers out there
- Stonekeeper, on 11/22/2008, -5/+10Dugg for Wales. Looked like Cardiff to me.
- jazino, on 11/22/2008, -2/+7As in really I could do half of that?
Yeah, I can jump over railing and three foot high concrete walls. I just don't because they make stairs and walkways that go around walls. - StuartGibson, on 06/14/2009, -0/+5Minus the mutant, ninja, turtle and possibly teenage parts.
- hugeposuer, on 11/23/2008, -1/+6Probably the least inspirational Freerunning video I've seen yet. Most make me want to learn how to do this stuff-- this one makes me want to sit at my computer and look for better videos.
- iwin2000, on 11/22/2008, -0/+4What the hell is this.
- lanzemurdok, on 11/22/2008, -5/+9i've seen better.
- StuartGibson, on 06/14/2009, -0/+3Practise, failing a lot at first.
- sochee, on 11/22/2008, -3/+6Liked the vid, music ruined it. I like RHCP, but they don't fit into this.
- RATM4EVER, on 11/22/2008, -2/+5Kinda makes me wanna go outside and learn parkour.....
Ah, who am I kidding? I'm going to play Mirror's Edge. - JenovaWitness77, on 11/23/2008, -0/+3It's like urban ninja, but with less originality and skill.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2kJZOfq7zk - Emelius, on 11/22/2008, -4/+6I don't like that parkour run, i give it 5/10 for parkourness.
- essjay, on 11/23/2008, -0/+2I like the guy, but the shooting and constant clichéd cutting in the video ruined it for me. That and the music.
- ShoppeRandom, on 11/22/2008, -7/+9Buried for Wales.
- jasmus, on 11/23/2008, -1/+3Sponsored? Someone is paying him to do that? I didn't think it was that great, not something I could do, but I've seen plenty of better videos on youtube. Maybe not in the editing department, but definitely in content.
- mamboboy, on 11/23/2008, -0/+2Ross Kemp looking at gangs in Wales for anyone interested:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=e2_P5Aq8aB0 - Stryke, on 11/23/2008, -0/+2Meh, it wasn't a very good video. I'm not digging just because I live there.
- rabbro, on 11/23/2008, -1/+3Cymru am byth and all that
- rdolishny, on 11/22/2008, -1/+3Kinda lame and way over-produced (edited).
...and by overproduced you need to see at least one gut-wrenching wipeout. - Stryke, on 11/23/2008, -1/+2Nothing we haven't seen before.
- Cglass, on 11/23/2008, -0/+1Yeah it started out a bit slow, like he wasn't sure how to do Parkour, then at about halfway when he has his revelation or whatever, he comes back looking pretty sweet =)
- junkstore, on 11/23/2008, -0/+1I agree with you. The stuff like jumping off of walls seems straightforward, but on the other hand it takes balls to scale a building (1:17) and there's no way I could ever do that.
- Gman311, on 11/22/2008, -5/+6awful song for such a cool thing
- WeAreAllScrewed, on 11/23/2008, -0/+1i was thinking the same thing...
- austang, on 11/23/2008, -0/+1I was thinking about doing this, but I have no idea where to begin, I rock climb but can't do those flips, where do you learn that stuff?
- Cglass, on 11/23/2008, -1/+2i've had better. ;)
- Rockkybox, on 11/23/2008, -1/+2Thats what she said
- X9001, on 11/23/2008, -1/+2http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1729490
http://www.collegehumor.com/video:121507
much better vids wish they would do without the music though... - PhoenixAvatar2, on 11/23/2008, -0/+1Best to start at the top of a building. The threat of falling to your death really encourages you to no screw up.
- wollsmosh, on 11/23/2008, -0/+1you forgot the epic.
- Hnnnnnghhh, on 11/23/2008, -0/+1WHITE GUY DREAD LOCKS, buried for.
- SANiK, on 11/23/2008, -1/+2Like rexykikrexykik said,
This is not Parkour - this is just Freerunning.
Freerunning is showing off/doing fancy tricks whilst moving acrobatically
Parkour is moving efficiently - no energy wasted on fancy stuff - mamboboy, on 11/23/2008, -3/+4This is the internet. Here we're all capable of amazing things. Hell, I could probably knock out Mike Tyson.
The funny thing is, you'd probably run up to a wall only to end up slamming face first into it. Or jumping off a 4ft high ledge and breaking your ankle.
Go climb up a carpark without any safety ropes. And we'll all see you on the other side with our 'fail' banners at the ready.
Just sayin'. - TimTheSuperGuy, on 11/23/2008, -0/+1Buried as inaccurate: freerunning =/= parkour.
I was going to say that he wasn't very good, but the second half of the video was much better than the first. Still, he's no David Belle. - Rockkybox, on 11/23/2008, -0/+1Unlikey, he might say 'are you taking the piss?' or even more likley 'why did you show me that ***** video?'
- hhmmmm, on 11/23/2008, -0/+1I'd think you just have to go out and try it... maybe incorporate some flips into rock climbing
- Handonam, on 11/23/2008, -0/+1yea, this one was good :)
