I skated back in the day and was pretty seriously into it...going to contests, etc. My wife and I were having twin boys (as a result of IVF) that were due tomorrow and I was hoping they would have an interest in skateboarding as they got older. I had no intention of pushing them into it, but I live in Va Beach and there is a pretty big skate scene here and good skate parks, so there was a good chance they would like it. My wife was totally against them skating but I convinced her to let them if they wanted to. Unfortunately, they were born on Nov 10th very premature and did not survive. One lived for 12 hours and the other survived for 13 days and passed away on Thanksgiving morning. Whenever I see kids skateboarding now, it makes me quite sad, as does almost everything else since they passed away. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4It's not abandoned, it's just the off seasons (Note all the leaves)

-Near me too, pretty cool to see it in the winter! Every time we go there, we talk about how cool it would be to go there in the winter, and I'd heard this video mentioned before, but this is the first time I've actually seen it. From what I gather, this group does this solely at the White Water in Atlanta.
