- contemplate, on 11/28/2007, -3/+1I wonder if it would be wise for teams to hire a kind of babysitter for these athletes. they could be called assistants or something so the athlete would be less likely to be offended. the "assistant" could pal around with them, steer them away from drugs, women after their money (or men, if they're women) and make sure they don't beat up, eat, shoot or otherwise kill anyone. Even at say 100K salary it would be a bargain.
