  • SSPink, on 10/07/2008, -0/+7Yeah, Don King was a street criminal who climbed his way to the top of the boxing world through intimidation, confidence scams, exploitation, and general thuggery. He is the greatest villain in the history of boxing and he has done more than any other person to destroy the sport of boxing.

    It's funny to me that he was included in this list, he beat a man to death in 1967 and served less than 4 years. Ever since then King has comfortably ignored laws that have gotten in between him and making money without any penalty whatsoever. In reality, King has become a prime example of how the rules don't apply to the rich and powerful in the world of sports.

    This guy has been in constant trouble with the law, and/or the mob, since the 1960's.

    It just never seems to end with him. "One thing after another," as they say. I wonder what it is about his personality? I guess he can't help it, somehow.

    Still... he seems to have a wife who loves him. That's an accomplishment many men never achieve! And that just might be the best thing he ever achieved in his life, which is significant.
