- Thrilltone, on 06/20/2008, -0/+12When I was in 7th grade a Marine Major lived in the same garden apartments as us.
He had a kid my age and we'd all play this game of his where you rolled cardboard into baseball bat sized clubs and taped it up and then you beat the ***** out of each other. It was fun. - engityra, on 06/19/2008, -0/+10Wife carrying . . . lol.

- PullingTeeth, on 06/20/2008, -1/+5Obligatory Canadian addition: curling.
- inactive, on 06/20/2008, -1/+5Isn't that a crime? I tried obtaining information about this on bumper stickers, but I came up with nothing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuM2pKbyBGw - jimminy, on 06/20/2008, -0/+3Pesäpallo may be fun, but only if you are not forced to play it for 7 years in school.
- Ryanr14, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2I play cornhole ALL the time at school in Indiana, where are you from? No one has heard of it in my homestate of MO.
- joshrice, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2No sport is less organized than Calvinball!
- Jenovaside, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2We play Calvinball at our camp. It starts as a game of soccer and ends with a lot of confusion, and usually trying to steal peoples shoes.
SO...MUCH...FUN - comptonstomp, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2what about OverTheLine? Its famous here in san diego but most people don't even know it. Great summer sport.
- spidoman, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2So where can I buy a bossaball court?
- chaos7, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2disc golf!!!
- rockrapdude, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2Well, we, the Estonians, are even better in this sport than Finns themselves. Wikipedia article to confirm:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wife_carrying#Champio ... - Hetman, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2I live in chicago originial from indiana. Even downtown it is getting pretty popular. I know of atleast 5 different bars that have leagues. Mine just ended it is definatly fun though.
- socialrebel, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2Calvinball FTW!!
- theflu, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2I'm from WI and it's pretty popular here.
- Chexjc, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2Mountain Unicycling is only one subversion of Unicycling as an 'extreme' or "obscure" sport. Check out Trials, Street, Freestyle, and Distance Unicycling on YouTube.
Here's a Trials unicycling video of mine:

Also, look to Unicyclist.com for more unicycling insight. - HanSolo69, on 06/20/2008, -0/+2Another reason why I love Finland...Funny how all of the best parts of that country involve the women.
- inactive, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1American football? Oh...
- mmarchin, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1http://www.fieldcrumpets.com/
- alphaterminus, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1Every time I enter a disc golf tournament I end up with the last place threesome and the other two guys are always smoking pot. Never fails. The only good thing is usually they are so high by the end I never end up dead last. (I suck so much I would be tempted but I would say bye to my medical license!)
- Remmiz, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1Kubb, the best lawn sport there is!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kubb - chaos7, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1i do. still many people don't know about it.
- yazheirx, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1Awesome. All I can think of is a fun sport for firemen or teenage boys preparing to sneak into their girlfriends rooms.
- zephyr42, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1Try mountain biking (real mountain biking)... like cross country (XC) mountain biking. It's a fantastic workout and sooo much fun.
- Onechrisn, on 06/21/2008, -0/+1IT IS CO-ED!
(well, not at world level competition, but every other tournament I've been to is co-ed) - indigg0, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1I think underwater hockey ought to get the recognition it deserves! Although I hadn't heard of it until 5 minutes ago, it sounds great, and I think it should be a contact sport, and co-ed. I can't wait to see more.
- Onechrisn, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1Underwater Hockey is crazy awesome fun and you should all try it.
Find a team near you at http://www.pucku.org/tourist/ - x5pfif, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1An old summer game I like to play is called "shoot the boot". You are supposed to fill an old boot with as much beer as it would hold and then drink from it. Once you get to the end, the people around you are supposed to scream "SUCK IT DRY!!" and you need to make sure it's alcohol free before passing it on to the next person in line.
- orenshk, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1I'm Israeli, and I have never in my life played GA GA. Looks awesome though.
I must not have been invited. :-( - cyberdependent, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1What, no Kosho?
- trentrezn0r, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1Doh! I mis-read that and though it was 'cheese boxing'. I was expecting people boxing with big wheels of cheese on their hands.
- Aaronontheweb, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1Played plenty of Over the Line here in San Diego as well
- LookAnOwl, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1That'd get too sexy.
