Its one thing if its of small children, that's wrong, no questions asked. But what if its of a 17 year old, technically that's child porn, but this guy is 20, he could date a 17 year old without anyone thinking anything of it.

I think there has to be some sort of privacy with certain crimes, to at least the point where they are PROVEN GUILTY in a court of law. Then publish their names and do whatever it is that people write about people who are convicted of these things.
Even so, someone above (onimusha115) mentions a great point. A point which is never really discussed among law enforcement or legislators. And that is the legality of possessing nude pictures (nudity is not pornography remember) of someone who may only be 1 year your junior. In other words, if a 17 year old sends an 18 year old nude pictures, the 18 year old gets charged with possession of child pornography.
Also I think they need to clarify the difference between nudity (non-clothed individuals) and actual pornography (sex acts). The conservative nature of the laws these days and the religious influence makes nudity the same as porn, which is retarded. Because in that instance, almost every parent in North America would be guilty of possession of child pornography when they take pictures of their kids without clothes on. There has to be a clear differentiation of the details of such accusations and the language of the law so there is no confusing a child taking a bath, versus a child who is being abused or molested. The descriptions of "child pornography" do not differentiate between the two. Unfortunately, the law is ass backwards and will never be changed because the politicians wouldn't be "thinking of the children." Even when the law is giving teenagers and young adults criminal records and placing them on sex offender registries, nothing will be done.
