- ChileanGoD, on 10/11/2008, -8/+3710 Must-Visit Sports Locations... for americans.
- NathanCH, on 10/11/2008, -4/+31Camp Nou? Wembely? Absent from this list.
- jotuN, on 10/11/2008, -6/+23I can think of at least 4 or 5 soccer stadia that should have been included. Anfield, San Siro, Camp Nou, The Bernabeu and La Bombonera.
- thh204, on 10/11/2008, -3/+18Monaco Grand Prix during F1 weekend?
- Horonto, on 10/11/2008, -4/+17Amazing no sports are played out side the US except for golf in the UK and track field in Beijing.

- graystar, on 10/11/2008, -1/+12No MCG?
No Wimbledon? - Featherlake, on 10/11/2008, -5/+16*** ALERT ***

- obliviousfool, on 10/11/2008, -2/+10I've always wanted to visit St.Andrews and I don't even golf!
- AJRiddle, on 10/11/2008, -1/+8Well it was made by an American magazine. I was surprised to see any outside of the US actually when I saw it was SI.
- loconet, on 10/11/2008, -1/+8Don't forget another icon of world stadiums: Estádio do Maracanã
http://capetalismo.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/ ... - SriS, on 10/11/2008, -1/+8This is a sad list...What bout Yankee Stadium (aside from the fact that it will be torn down this year...). What about Lord's cricket ground in England? Or Wimbledon / Rolland Garros? Not to mention that little stadium where a team called Manchester United plays...I think the representation should be one stadium per sport...of course the monaco grand prix for F1...
Americans are so biased...always assume that the world of sports revolves around them.. - atgmac, on 10/11/2008, -3/+10When will you silly Americans realise that 95% of people aren't American and don't care about American-only sports?
- Internazionale, on 10/11/2008, -1/+7San Siro topples those stadiums
- puttly, on 10/11/2008, -5/+11No Westpac stadium? http://westpacstadium.co.nz/
or Croke Park? http://www.crokepark.ie/
Kind of disappointed to see 80% of the locations just in the US. - Niubai, on 10/11/2008, -1/+7Where's Maracanã ? Oh , forget about ... it's just the most famous and historic stadium for the most popular sport in the world ... who cares ?
- gincarnated, on 10/11/2008, -0/+6I came to post those very two stadiums.
- epmc, on 10/11/2008, -3/+9just a little biased towards americans?
- DiggRage, on 10/11/2008, -1/+7Dugg for Allen Fieldhouse. Rock Chalk!
- vsujohn2, on 10/11/2008, -1/+6I can hardly wait to find out!
- jhoogy, on 10/11/2008, -2/+7Its an international website that's why.
- eeinw, on 10/11/2008, -0/+5I feel much better now knowing that someone else was thinking the same thing I was. Historic stadiums completely absent.
- Shadowhawk109, on 10/11/2008, -1/+6Old Wembley, Manchester?
- adml_shake, on 10/11/2008, -1/+6Daytona?! What about the Indianapolis Motor Speedway? That place is full of history, and a must see for NASCAR or INDY CAR fans.
- futebollounge, on 10/11/2008, -0/+5this should be number 1 on any list.
- snagra, on 10/11/2008, -0/+411. The Rose Bowl
- Ajajadude, on 10/11/2008, -1/+5Stop being a drama queen and ask digg to close your account.
- AJRiddle, on 10/11/2008, -1/+5How about the Melbourne Cricket Ground or the Big House in Michigan?
- vsaint, on 10/11/2008, -2/+6No Assault from american gladiators?
- ThatBlokeRob, on 10/11/2008, -0/+4"10 U.S. Must-Visit Sports Locations except one [PICS]"
- thehitman, on 10/11/2008, -1/+5Emirates Stadium, Old Trafford, Wembley Stadium, Melbourne Cricket Ground Millennium Stadium, Camp Nou, Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Croke Park, Twickenham Stadium, Stade de France, Allianz Arena, Lord's,The Oval, Eden Gardens
- LeoGagen, on 10/11/2008, -0/+4No Lords. What a joke. Typically American Bias
- Vital8, on 10/11/2008, -2/+6surprisingly almost all of them are in america
typical - eeinw, on 10/11/2008, -0/+4Thank you for being the 3rd post I feel much better about it now. Not one professional soccer stadium, I'm confused.
- bastardprince, on 10/11/2008, -2/+6A lot of locations are left out especially international venues such as Anfield, The San Siro, The Camp New and Wembley...
- AAK15, on 10/11/2008, -4/+8Fenway Park was amazing when I lived there and had season tickets. The John Hancock sign, the Citgo sign, and the green monster were all icons. Now they got seats on the green monster, ad's on the wall, huge billboards over it.... Well at least they won the series (and are on their way to one more! GO BOSOX!)
- Totz83, on 10/11/2008, -1/+5Nothing beats the history of Croke Park
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croke_Park#History - inactive, on 10/11/2008, -6/+9It's a little late for Yankee Stadium. It is typically on these lists but obviously they are about to turn the page and start a new era.
- HayString, on 10/12/2008, -0/+3It'd be nice if you didn't have to be rich or upper-middle-class to be able to afford to go.
- Daniel591992, on 10/12/2008, -0/+3Exactly. If any soccer place was included, it should be the Marcana.
- kawaiirobo, on 10/11/2008, -4/+7Why? it's an American website that published by an American magazine under an American media conglomerate. The majority of the audience is, and I'm going out on a limb here, American.
- LordoftheLoo, on 10/11/2008, -0/+3There is nothing wrong with adding seats, especially since every game sells out. (If only tickets weren't so hard to get)
- Niubai, on 10/11/2008, -1/+4In your dreams, in your dreams ...
- rileyhallwood, on 10/11/2008, -1/+4this is the internet, we don't play sports.
- Pake, on 10/11/2008, -0/+3Agreed, especially when you consider that NASCAR teams want to win just as badly at IMS as they do Daytona.
- ShooterMcGavin, on 10/11/2008, -0/+3um... yeah... I'm not really in a hurry to get to the "birds nest"... Thanks anyway.
I will be, however, making the pilgrimage to Lambeau November 15th for Packers/Bears. Can't wait. - kawaiirobo, on 10/11/2008, -0/+3Quit wasting our time asshat, no one gives a ***** about your digg whining.
- CyberStriker, on 10/11/2008, -1/+4Why are people digging you down? You're correct, this list is biased.
I was shocked there wasn't a single football (soccer) field listed there. WTF kind of list is this? I know America has a lot of great sporting stadiums, but what about the great ones in Europe too? The world doesn't revolve around America. Just because you guys don't give a damn about football (soccer) doesn't mean you shouldn't include at least one venue on this list. It's the most popular sport in the world for a reason, you know. -
