She still wears it for two reasons: it serves as a decoy crutch so people serve to her (she's a better hitter than Misty May), and ever since she's worn it they have won every single match they've played.

She has such a nice ass.

I just order a roll of this stuff as I am desperate after many trips to the orthopaedic dr and countless rounds of physical therapy on my ankle. Tried everything short of surgery so figured its worth a shot. We will see.

As soon as I saw the picture I could see it was tape, I can't see why (besides the mention by the OP of the announcers always saying so) anyone spending time watching her play wouldn't be able to figure it out after a few minutes. The only thing possibly 'wierd' about it is it being black instead of the more commonly seen white.
