- Bukowsky, on 09/05/2009, -0/+27In my opinion, the Dream Team was really the peak of the NBA. Nothing before it could compare, and nothing since can compare. Don't get me wrong, Lebron & Kobe are great players.... but the Dream Team was filled with players that had respect for their team, not their stats or salary or endorsements. I don't think we'll ever see that level of class in the NBA again.
- bubbameister33, on 09/05/2009, -0/+14They were like the Justice League of basketball.
- inactive, on 09/05/2009, -3/+9I am glad they changed the world, especially when they eliminated war, hunger, disease and pollution
- bubbameister33, on 09/05/2009, -1/+6I like women's volleyball better.
- theOster, on 09/05/2009, -0/+4i dont like sports, but watching these guys play was amazing. and i think its because that all they were doing - just playing.
- deepak1uw, on 09/05/2009, -1/+5How a little Caribbean island exports stars to the major leagues.
- Junkey, on 09/05/2009, -0/+4Ah memories, back when I used to watch basketball on TV.
- TheyCMeTrollin, on 09/05/2009, -0/+3the dream team was A TEAM. back in the day where players cared about fundamentals and teamwork. unlike now where its LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME!
- PLC87, on 09/05/2009, -1/+3Definitely need to give credit to international players who have really stepped their game up and play good, fundamental basketball and play for love of country. The US players have been chronically underestimating their opponents and play with no real passion or cohesiveness, thus they have deserved the many humbling beat downs they've gotten over the last decade.
- ShingoEX, on 09/05/2009, -1/+3Got news for ya. The Olympics have been full of "crass marketing and self promotion" long before professionals were allowed in.
Regardless, if the best your country has happen to be professional players...so be it. That's the idea...get your best to represent in the competition. - ShingoEX, on 09/05/2009, -0/+2Pretty much. After the blowout by the original Dream Team, it seems like they're making an assumption that all the world's competition plays like the Washington Generals.
It's not like that anymore, especially with foreign NBA players who play for their home countries... - markperia, on 09/06/2009, -1/+2David Robinson

How the hell can anyone ever beat that roster? That's almost like cheating. - EarlOfLade, on 09/06/2009, -1/+2Nonsense!
Basketball is irrelevant internationally. Nobody cares about your so called dream team. But continue to tell yourself they do. - bmdubya, on 09/05/2009, -4/+5No, soccer is the only beautiful sport.
- BinkyStuttocks, on 09/06/2009, -1/+1Ahem, I believe you mean Frolf?
- ShingoEX, on 09/05/2009, -2/+2RTDA
- phauna, on 09/05/2009, -4/+3As if it was the best team in ANY sport. Get a hold of yourselves, Americans.
- Semblance, on 09/05/2009, -5/+3What the hell?! Professionals in the Olympics ruined the Olympics. It's all crass marketing and self promotion now. Recently, volleyball players had to wear sunglass frames after taking out the (fogged up) lenses because the frames were sponsored by a corporation. It's time to kill the Olympics.
- depro9, on 09/05/2009, -4/+2The Olympics need to end! http://submedia.tv/ TAKE NOTE..
