- T440, on 08/17/2008, -3/+37Soccer would be infinitely more entertaining to watch if everyone had a sword.
- kkush, on 08/16/2008, -0/+24wow those are some really creative ads...
Olympics has been inspiring everyone.. - rivalius13, on 08/17/2008, -2/+17The guy in the last shot is NEVER going to hit that layup.
- olafcore, on 08/17/2008, -2/+16you put the puzzle pieces in the wrong places, dumbass
- iChaz, on 08/17/2008, -1/+6actually, you need one good 'skill set', if not more.
- artofficial, on 08/17/2008, -1/+4Well said...

- allantan, on 08/17/2008, -2/+4Simple idea, but done really cleanly. Dugg.
- Proteus1935, on 08/17/2008, -0/+1The original message is in Portuguese and matches the company slogan... the translation made it loose it`s meaning
- t3hmyth, on 08/17/2008, -0/+1I actually agree with him on this one. Now, iChaz, granted it's not as specifice as having just "one really good one," however, unless a person is doing multiple events that aren't related in a basic way (e.g. Decathlon) all that is required is excelling in one main area.
- Intervene, on 08/17/2008, -0/+1Larger pics please.
- inactive, on 08/17/2008, -0/+1I see what they did there
- twoifbysee, on 08/17/2008, -0/+1nice! I also really like - these ads from Italian brand Freddy. I thought they did a great job showcasing the idea of athletic performance in such a creative way...
http://twoifbysee.blogspot.com/2008/01/freddy-beij ... - monsterette, on 08/18/2008, -0/+1....absolutely brilliant...
- rdmorley, on 08/18/2008, -0/+1Those make my brain hurt
- McGuinness, on 08/17/2008, -2/+2And Phelps takes his 8th!
http://digg.com/olympics/Mission_accomplished_Phel ... - qxrt, on 08/17/2008, -0/+0It was good until the final message: You need to have a lot of skills to succeed in the Olympics? That makes no sense. You need to be very good in one thing--swimming, shooting, running, etc.--to succeed in the Olympics. Diversifying is more likely to make you deficient overall in any individual sport. Would you rather have one gold medal or four bronze medals? I don't know about you, but I'd prefer the gold.
- RMSzero, on 08/17/2008, -0/+0LOL at first comment on that page. Do I think most companies want to advertise during the olympics? Yes I do.
- Her3t1k, on 08/17/2008, -0/+0I'd say that would hold true for any sport.
- MagMan68Classic, on 08/17/2008, -1/+1The first and last one are pretty sweet, except for the layup that the last guy has to make. That should be fixed.
- DaBomb2704, on 08/17/2008, -0/+0ROFL! The fencer in the first picture is wearing has the wrong type of weapon for what he is wearing. He is wearing a foil lame, but he is holding an epee.
- Dylson, on 08/17/2008, -5/+4So far so good on the olympics. Very inspiring *****.
- aboutagirl1981, on 08/17/2008, -2/+0ohhhhhhh I get it- its like- all the different sports, but like, together
- Mannyy, on 08/17/2008, -4/+1I've seen better ones... anyway.. dugg!
- bullioncube, on 08/17/2008, -4/+1These should be real sports. I might actually watch the olympics then.
- chrisc3, on 08/17/2008, -6/+1clearly photoshopped....
- theguesser10, on 08/16/2008, -8/+3But you don't need a lot of skills in the olympics, you need one really good one.
- MustacheFace, on 08/17/2008, -6/+1Synergy ads aren't creative - just the easiest ***** to accomplish when your boss tells you to "find a way to combine all these unique sports to create a feeling of unity and overall appeal to the broadest possible consumer base" and I'm all like, "let's just do what you said, but literally." Then Greg does it because I want to go home early.
- jasmus, on 08/17/2008, -6/+1very cleaver
