And pigeons and kites are banned, which is bad. But you ARE allowed to protest during the Olympics, which is good (but only in a few designated areas, and without any banners or flags or emblems - and you have to apply for your 'protest application' at a government office, giving all your details... which might not be so good).

And let's not even mention the net censorship, cellphone bugging, pollution, human rights stuff, Tibet, etc, etc, etc. - None of which I even knew about until the Olympics came along. I guess maybe the Olympics aren't exactly a wonderful PR triumph for China...

I'm sure you guys would have the same ignorant comments if u see the tens of thousands who suffered the earthquake, the ones who've lost almost all of their families, and little assets that might mean the world to them. I'm sure once u've seen the expressions on their faces, u'll laugh, and still joke about it.

how much has our gov done after katrina? our soldiers were sent in to keep the "looters" away from stores? where was bush when people in new orlean are dying?

Besides, I think you should take some responsibility in the pollution in China as you're using many of their products.

If so then you should tell the award winning show Frontline that they are completely wrong in their documentary where they interview people who are now homeless due to the Olympics.
