Such a small part of our culture, significant as it may be, doesn't deserve to take over the many amazing things Vancouver is known for.

- UselessTrivia, on 10/15/2009, -0/+2I'm well aware. The olympic medal standards are that a gold medal must be at least 3mm thick and contain at least 6 grams of gold. Beijing medals contained somewhat more than 6g and the rumors are that vancouver medals will as well.
And they have to make quite a few of these plus pay for the design and crafting, so I maintain that they're spending a pretty good chunk of change on these medals. - digitalArtform, on 10/15/2009, -0/+2sigh
