Take that America! You drape your houses with puny lights. We litter our fields with beach ball lights! - wtfisthis, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0stupid. there's so many amazing sights in this world lighting your dirt up with Christmas lights is weak.
- Crossmenjeff, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2the biggest lcd screen i've ever seen
- Jabjabs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Is Sony making another Bravia commercial? Looks like it to me.

http://www.imdb.com/gallery/ss/0482571/4098.jpg.html?path=gallery&path_key=0482571&seq=8 - Skanadian, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Those last couple of pictures where they are all lit up look REALLY fake.
- exomni, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Pointless to have colour-changing globes without video.
- galaxie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1horizontal websites are not meant for vertical based browsers....
- sphinx13, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5This reminds me of that thing from "The Prestige" the conductive ground made by Nikola Tesla.
- Narcowski, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I wish there was a high res night shot for my wallpaper.
- ninja0, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3now if there was a good foot of snow on top of those bulbs... that would look crazy-cool!
- drizzlelicious, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Why do the last pictures look so much like photoshop? Shouldnt the bulbs be lighting up the ground or something?
- Zephir62, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1If you look closely they are.
- shniken, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2*Colour

- Nodspy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Ok stop dots.
- Philonius, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Looks like you couldn't (or wouldn't be allowed to) walk around and among them, which kinda bites. Seems like that would be cool to do.
- Drumrboy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1they look like cheapo xmas lights... if they were all the same color and faded from one color to another or maybe in waves (since its a large enough area to pull that off in) then it would be truly 1337
- Armandeus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0"May I have ten thousand marbles please?"
- ecidnac, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0If I ever move far enough away from downtown Chicago to actually have a backyard... this is SO going to be mine.
- tivo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1ive been there!
- 22justin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1white night is crazy
- b00le, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0It's really lovely at night (I live just across the river). There was a helicopter overhead on Saturday evening -- probably the best way to see it. They are not "cheapo xmas lights" at all: each globe can take on several colours and they slowly cycle through a myriad of combinations. You can search for "massimo silenzio" at YouTube, but that doesn't give you the scale: Circo Massimo is about .5 km long and there are 10,000 lights.
- ttam, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It's a good thing they didn't do that in Boston.
- rockrapdude, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Google Earth to view the picture?
