Florida Man Offers Garage Door Advertisement On eBay

cgi.ebay.com — Yes, this auction is mine. I'm offering an advertisement on my 2 car garage door for 1 year on eBay. Before any veteran users get pissed off, I've been a fan of Diggnation since 2005, but I just registered for Digg.com today.

If you've got a dot com ecommerce site or blog you want to promote it could be very inexpensive advertising and the free press resulting from the promoter's homeowner's association going bonkers will be off the charts... if the promotion is done right...

      This is a great marketing exercise in understanding what it takes for a story to hit "critical mass."
      News does not "just happen. People make it happen.

Some of us love it when we walk outside and the heat and humidity take our breath away. :) Good luck getting back to Yankeeville!
