- mal1964, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Is that Ross Rebagliati, on Mt. Fiji in the background.
- KniteWulf, on 10/10/2007, -20/+2Fiji is also a brand of water.

But how do we know its abandoned and not just being built?- KniteWulf, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6That Gulliver looks awful faded and dirty. Although I don't get why the grass is cut short. If it was really abandoned, wouldn't the grounds be overgrown?
- houndeyex, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1The grass looks dead to me.
- kristobal1229, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0not if it was just recently abandoned...
- m3t00, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9But how do we know it isn't just a scale model of an abandoned park that was built just yesterday. Those crafty Japanese. This is a viral site for an upcoming Godzilla vs. Gulliver movie.

- gutterboy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10I just like the picture. I don't get the reason to argue.
- sexybobo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Welcome to the internet you must be new. People will argue about anything even if they now they are wrong. most of it is just to see what response they can get out of other people that is called trolling. some of it is people really just have nothing better to do and some of it is people are just bat ***** insane.
Further reading on the subject here http://tinyurl.com/yocusd- Manuelmty, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1no! no! no! no! , that welcome image must have been a link to goatse !

- faajaa, on 10/10/2007, -5/+3ugggh it must be a lame theme park.. (No wonder it was abandoned) lol
- NCSUspoon, on 10/10/2007, -4/+6Does that mean that the Japanese are calling themselves small? And if that's so, is it ok for me to call them small?
- zeromancer, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1would you call a black person a ***** because some call themselves that? i think not.
- coasterswim, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Seems reasonable to me.
- trer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I can't believe you used time and effort to produce such a worthless statement.
- adlu, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0not worthless. brought a smile to my face!

- jtrobot, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Did this remind anyone else of the fallen giant in Ender's Game?
- umrgregg, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2No. I don't think it did...
- SkullPizza, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5no but that book is totally on of my fav scifi fantasy books.

- CurtHowland, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1+35° 20' 4.48", +138° 38' 51.27"
For those that want to get there quick.
Unfortunately, either Google Earth is off just a bit, or the satellite image is really low-res there, because it doesn't show up at all.

- Rodalli, on 10/10/2007, -0/+402000 years from now some archaeologist is going to find this and conclude that the Japanese worshiped giant white men who were into bondage.
- ronaldinho, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1no, more likely the conclusion will be that they are into bondaging white men
- mal1964, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Yes they will, but only if the miracle of your blood lines go 2000 years.
- MisterNetHead, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2Sorry, really off topic, but does water having brands sound ridiculous to anybody else?
- adent1066, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12He was obliviously killed by Godzilla
- tadv211, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Some of the other photos on the site are even more interesting.

- NikoKun, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1haha that was the first thing I was thinking!
- joemofo214, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1that park could easily house 500,000 japanese citizens
- jaderok, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1why is everyone upset?
- silvermotion, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Hey this is the theme park where they filmed spirited away!!!
- Elshender, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Here's a ytmnd of an abandoned Japanese amusement park, not sure if it's the same one as in the picture though.
http://lostpark.ytmnd.com/ - AaronTyler, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Is that Christpoher Walken?

- TheToecutter, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1I defy anyone to find a Digg news post that doesn't contain typos or false information or just plain wrong information. Mt. Fiji? Jesus. I thought Digg was highbrow? Not.
- betteroffalone, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I Love UE - awesome pic and had a good time exploring the site!
- purplehaze420, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Makes sense, there isn't much space in Japan right? So killing off all the giants seems logical.
- dmunkey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1dugg for the rest of the photos on the site. That's some creepy *****, imagine visiting the abandoned asylum or abandoned prison.
- Akirassj, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0That place is really really cool to see in person. I can't link you to the pics but there are more on the internet and its AMAZING. I have done plenty of UE and that place takes the cake. I am wondering if anyone will find the pic with me standing on him.
- grahamgrafx, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Wheres the Mystery Machine parked?
- mobislink, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I'm going to go with the 3rd Spirited Away reference. Good movie.
- jolieve, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Tons of these amusement parks cropped up all over Japan in the 80's and went under soon after. Abandoned amusement parks like this are now a common sight in the countryside of Japan, so this is really not all that surprising to see. The Gulliver thing is kinda neat tho.
- powaking, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Speaking of UrbEx here's some pics my friend took while doing some himself. This is just a tiny collection of what he has but I find these are some of his best taken.
