- eggeyes, on 10/11/2007, -2/+23Sounds like she'll end up being the crazy cat lady in the end. HAHA!
- Error601, on 10/11/2007, -2/+19Not sure about actual since I've seen the same ad with different people in it.
- silverchrysalis, on 10/11/2007, -6/+22cat's not gonna cheat on you in 2 years...
- IRoaChI, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13girls cheat just as much as guys
- quinlan, on 10/11/2007, -4/+16You guys sure do get pissed off easily. He's the one who said that he was going to go if the cat didn't. Sounds like he's the whiny bitch to me.
- blindswordsman, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13i dunno... having a human pet sounds expesive...
- PamalaLauren, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12Why did he let her get a cat anyhow? All I know is even though my husband hates cats, he bought me two and they've grown on him. He now won't get rid of them.
- Caps, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11RTFA. The husband is one that doesn't like cats.
- inferno10, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10She should keep the cat. Cats are easier to throw at people.
- Tolzmaniac, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9I hope this was printed on Caturday!
- FadieZ, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7so where does she live? I need a new cat
- rogersmj, on 10/11/2007, -3/+9You == humorless.
I love women with a sardonic sense of humor...I can see my wife doing that ;-) You people need to lighten up. - polypropglop, on 10/11/2007, -12/+18Jennifer == Psycho
- kindrobot, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Nah,. probably just allergic.
- calvmari, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4In some cases, if a woman wants a cat, she's getting a cat. Deal with the consequences later.
- nickj6282, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I see you've met my fiancee. Please make her stop :|
- wilf_brim, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7I've seen this a few times. Usual solution: dump the significant other. Most people find their pets very important. If the gf/bf/spouse doesn't see that the animal is important to you and willing to accept it; look out. Things are gonna get ugly quick.
Example: I ended up fostering two greys for a little while when their owner (co-worker of the ex) was told by the spouse to get rid of them. Money wasn't an issue; this dude was doing OK and had a truly impressive collection of PS2 games (this was about 2 years ago). It really broke the heart of the wife letting these two (one was from before the marriage) go. At best, that was one dude that didn't get any for a long time. More likely they ended up splitting. That was one bitter, angry, and upset woman. (The dogs, btw, were awesome. No problems at all, they went to a greyhound adoption group in the mid west and found another home very quickly.) - mitrovarr, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4"Most people find their pets very important"? True, but your spouse is astronomically more important. Getting a major pet like a cat or dog is a pretty important decision that they should be party to. It's one thing if the pet is already there when the relationship starts, but once you're already married, you just don't randomly come home with a kitten one day.
- speaker219, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Mirror just in case:
http://speaker219.x8web.com/stuff/you-decide.jpg - arusso, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3The *exact* words going through my head as I clicked the link...
Saw this at least 5 years ago, but still funny nonetheless.. - coditza, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Actually there is one: don't click.
- desistere, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5Pussy's unite
- Hooj, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Buried as lame, since this is very old. No reason at all for it to hit the front page.
- kindrobot, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Yeah, darned wives.
- blacklilyninja, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3id leave them both and see how they do.
it was funny though - schmik07, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I was gonna dig u down cos i'm sick of readin these, but then i realised it was relevant to the story cos it's a cat, and i made me smile.
i'm impressed. Dugg! - toomuchfreetime, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Buried for "old and not funny anymore."
- cdnbambam, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1The second tower to fall did so at 10:28 am, that would be why he's divorced.
- FadieZ, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1A tribute: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzG091Wm1WM
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Just deal with it until you outlive it.
- offwithyourtv, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Idiocy shines on he who does not realize this is a joke, not a real article.
- MrKrinkleDude, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Sadly, no. Which is why a boatload of users specifically called for a picture topic, so they could be skipped or not.
- SteelChicken, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1guys only start cheating after the wife stops putting out
- polypropglop, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1You != humor
(at least my type of humor) - sandyg, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I'd definitely go for the cat. *Grins*
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2How about:
"Oh so sorry honey, I didn't see his cat ass walk into the microwave." - Elixir25, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Yep, this is old meme.
- withoutashovel, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I find it funny how I have to click the picture link because the title made no sense the first few times around.
- coditza, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1If the human pet managed to live to 32 with a wife like that, why wouldn't he live past 40 or so?
ps: This is a funny thing, but if my wife/gfriend would have done that to me, I would consider myself entitled to skip the sudo part for a while :P - monsterenergy, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1@iroachl
Since when does the article say it costs to adopt the cat, or the guy for that matter? - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Poor cat has to deal with these 2 losers.
- SiliconBadger, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1The cat will probably be more loyal.
- IRoaChI, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3Who bought the cat though? Doubt it was the husband
- shoppingkart, on 10/11/2007, -4/+3Is there any fine print to the husband?
- MrKrinkleDude, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2Idiocy shines on "Jennifer".
Pet preferences is something you work out while you're still in the dating stages, well before marriage. Hopefully, the guy left and gave the cat away on the way out. - jab46, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1So who went the kitty or husband?
