- TeamoSupremo, on 11/07/2007, -4/+101NO...they would not survive a Zombie attack
- geneticlemon, on 11/04/2007, -3/+93Hey, at least they didn't just ignore him and let him "bleed to death" like those neighbors did with the lady who hung herself the week before Halloween in PUBLIC ...
- whatthefu, on 11/04/2007, -12/+83"A first aid team called to the scene soon cleared up the confusion. Police told the man to remove his make-up after which he was allowed to continue his journey." They should've tazed him and charged him with ridiculous charges...right?

- inactive, on 11/07/2007, -2/+59That man wins Halloween.
- BleedingEars, on 11/01/2007, -1/+58what do ya know zombies like to get drunk and pass out on trains, maybe were not so different after all.
- andrewcsayer, on 11/04/2007, -2/+58You have red on you
- A242, on 11/07/2007, -1/+54If I saw someone on the train that looked like zombie but he/she was just laying there motionless, I wouldn't attempt to wake him/her. I mean, why the hell would you wake a zombie?
- DeviantDragon, on 11/04/2007, -3/+48They used their braaaaaaaaaaaaains.....braaaaaaaaaaaains!!!
- sandbird, on 11/07/2007, -0/+40OK... now that's a good costume.
- joshf52, on 11/07/2007, -0/+39Sounds like the German government is covering up another zombie infestation.
- chicoer2001, on 11/04/2007, -1/+36What good concerned citizens. Thankfully they dont know what Halloween is, or they might pass off a real dying person with a Halloween costume.
- nickdngr, on 11/03/2007, -0/+34superglue your hands to your head...
- kevinmotel, on 10/31/2007, -0/+32like he said, not so different after all
- FeartheKnighted, on 11/03/2007, -3/+32How do you bleed to death from hanging?

- Chaoticfist, on 10/31/2007, -0/+19"Breaks open anti zombie kit, loads shotgun, and moves to high ground. Then realized zombie invasion is fake, breaks into tears"
- ropers, on 10/31/2007, -0/+18I'm German, and I can tell you that indeed Halloween was not normally celebrated in Germany until a few years back. The only persons celebrating Halloween in Germany in the nineties were American expats or similar. Halloween was almost unknown in Germany. However, in recent years there has been a massive push by the retail industry to import this holiday into Germany, because there's money to be made, and guess what -- every German kid that that is subscripted to demand sweets from hitherto hapless Germans allows the snack food industry to sell more sweets. It's almost like these impulse buy chocolate displays at the supermarket checkout: The industry has figured out how to use children to get adults to spend. The private German media is also playing along nicely: In true "We have always been at war with Eurasia" style, they pretend each year that Halloween had always been celebrated, and they're winning, because in a few years there won't be a German kid anymore that grew up without knowing Halloween. So, to summarise: This is an Irish holiday that was exported to the US and almost forgotten in Ireland, then commercialised in the US, then exported back to Ireland, and now is being exported all around the world. "There is nothing quite as wonderful as money. There is nothing quite as beatiful as cash..."

"use your brains to help us" - inactive, on 10/31/2007, -0/+13Although, if they were the type that would survive a zombie attack; then there might have really been a murder victim.
Still, you can never be too careful with zombies; and a few uninfected deaths, though tragic, do not outweigh the risk of letting proper zombie protocol lapse at any time. - Chaoticfist, on 10/31/2007, -1/+13I would run home and grab a shotty.....
- capiCrimm, on 11/01/2007, -0/+11they probably tazed him to make sure he was alive. I thought that was obvious.
- Akaji, on 10/31/2007, -2/+13They also like to eat people's brains....
- Phyltre, on 10/31/2007, -0/+10Ha. That sent a genuine jolt through my system. This actually IS exactly the tactic that works like the Zombie Survival guide suggest would be used to cover up a biological threat. Kinda makes you wonder--how many stories like this would it take for people to get suspicious that something might really be going on? Would we really have time to react?
- macgenious, on 11/01/2007, -0/+10wow, I know that someone covered in blood can be a bit scary, but I think this was a little over the top
- scottykempf, on 10/31/2007, -0/+9Shotgun? Don't you mean collection of old records?
- biggerdigger69, on 10/31/2007, -2/+10Mein gott!
- smek2, on 10/31/2007, -0/+8"Bad Segeberg is in a rural area and Halloween isn't very well known there," -- rural or not, even in the urban areas, say capital city Berlin, Halloween is not really celebrated. I mean, some people use every occasion to party and the media is pushing this thing but it is not a traditional german holiday (in fact it isn't a holiday at all) and most germans find it rather annoying that they are being told to celebrate a festivity nobody even cared about a couple of years ago. (told by the media and the industry, who are hellbent of selling new stuff and keep people distracted). Beside that i find the train passengers reaction rational. After all the zombie guy (who was drunk) didn't react and had blood all over his hand. They day somebody sits blood-smeared in a public place and nobody is doing anything will be a sad day for society.
- inactive, on 11/01/2007, -0/+8Of course that's the right way of doing. By not tazing him they look like a bunch of socialist softies. Its a good thing our police officers taze otherwise they'd look like pussies and no one would pay their parking tickets! I'm digging you
- jjremy, on 10/31/2007, -0/+8machete welded to a crowbar!
- inactive, on 11/01/2007, -0/+7Halloween Weekend at Bernie's?
- Sorvan, on 10/31/2007, -0/+7I had the opposite happen to me. My roommate came home from a halloween party and I was amazed at his zombie costume - ripped shirt, blood everywhere.... turned out he had the crap beaten from him and had just come back from the hospital from getting stitches in his head.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=nda_OSWeyn8 - DephexTwin, on 10/31/2007, -1/+6OMG not all countries celebrate the same holidays!!!!!!! How can that be??????
- Kookami, on 10/31/2007, -1/+6When later asked for comment the zombie cryptically replied, "I like turtles."
- sockpuppets, on 10/31/2007, -1/+6Well, if my house caved in on Halloween eve I give myself a reasonable probability of that being the catalyst for a zombie outbreak. So no, I think not.
- flipper5311, on 10/31/2007, -0/+4Oh Scheiße!
- swanny89, on 10/31/2007, -1/+5Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase. Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase.
- tfinniga, on 11/01/2007, -0/+4Did you notice in the fine article that the other people on the train weren't familiar with Halloween? And that he was unconscious? They apparently thought he was a victim, not a perp, so I think it is pretty reasonable, actually.
- anagoge, on 11/04/2007, -0/+4Umm...someone with compassion? Just a thought.
- zachshmack, on 10/31/2007, -3/+7I'll decide for you
- astrotrain, on 10/31/2007, -0/+3Would be a winner... see Bernie wake up after a decade... and eat brains of the two dumb asses from the movies that kept dragging it out and party....
