- Garofoli, on 09/28/2008, -2/+363I love when websites put in jokes randomly throughout their sites.
- drex8, on 09/28/2008, -3/+243You win 1 Internet.
Please use it recklessly. - benighted, on 09/29/2008, -5/+189"Archivement unlocked"
- AmyVernon, on 09/28/2008, -0/+158it's nice to see when sites have actual sense of humor...
- Splitthebiscuit, on 09/28/2008, -4/+150"I AM ERROR"
- doomtimenow, on 09/28/2008, -2/+139I found this unusually amusing for whatever reason.
- MidnightRIder77, on 09/29/2008, -6/+116Google does this all the time. Google search "the answer to life, the universe, and everything" for another example
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -1/+88too much internet for today, i'm going out to get some fresh error
- tedrock, on 09/29/2008, -0/+73poor examples ungoliat considering they aren't done by google...
- Rooker156, on 09/29/2008, -2/+67Firefox with explorers default bookmarks imported... gross.
- nubnub, on 09/29/2008, -0/+61Google bombs are not created by google.
- orangeguy94, on 09/29/2008, -9/+57I see what Google did there.
- snasu, on 09/29/2008, -7/+54I'm tired of this "Epic win" and "Epic fail" *****.
- GamingForever, on 09/28/2008, -4/+49Google has such a great sense of humor. :)
- ZeMeisterstuck, on 09/29/2008, -7/+48Really not too difficult to recreate.
1. Go to a site
2. Get & edit source code
3. Apply changes
4. Press Print Screen
5. Post on web
6. Profit!!!
For example: (it must be real! it's a screen shot.)

It's nice to see when site developers have actual sense of humor. - JBrown99, on 09/29/2008, -2/+31@benplaut:
URL: http://www.nochucknorris.com/
Bottom of the page: "This page has no affiliation with Google. Created by Arran Schlosberg"
You: Fail - acceleration, on 09/29/2008, -1/+26Most likely they imported their personal settings from IE to FF, including the default IE toolbar links. Or they really like Microsoft.
- bcreavis, on 09/29/2008, -6/+30Create a blank *.html document, type in "Dear valued user...", and save it. Open it up with your web browser. Where's Photoshop involved?
Besides, Photoshop's font rendering is much different than how it gets rendered in Firefox. Just compare the difference between "Yo" set in Times New Roman in Firefox and Photoshop. In PS, the "o" gets positioned properly; in Firefox there's a large gap between the characters.
I'm serious. No one---unless they're obsessed with reading font rendering specs and placing characters character-by-character in Photoshop---would do this in Photoshop.
I suppose one would use Photoshop to paste the hoaxed page body into a screenshot of an opened Gmail window, but hell, that can be done in Paint. Oh, I'll just shut up now. Just wait, we'll get a meme like "Painted!!!" - floort, on 09/28/2008, -2/+26you're lazy too. With spelling anyway.
- vinceislegend, on 09/29/2008, -2/+25It should have redirected to Yahoo.
- kingdomdude, on 09/29/2008, -6/+26Hmm, didn't work for me:

But I did find this;
http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2008/09/best-gmai ... - markajanssen, on 09/29/2008, -2/+22I saw that there was a reply and was like, "Please don't point out that it was the developers' humor and not the websites..."
Alas, I was disappointed.
Dugg anyway. - StopPandaTime, on 09/29/2008, -8/+28I want to believe it's real, but it just looks photoshopped.
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -27/+46EPIC WIN
- Whaines, on 09/29/2008, -3/+21@tdlrali
Better tighten it! - rompom7, on 09/29/2008, -7/+25I'm tired of the people who always get tired of internet nomenclature.
- wdr1, on 09/29/2008, -3/+21Funny message, but you really need to explain your bookmarks.
- inactive, on 09/29/2008, -1/+18OMG! I accidentally a internet.
- Splitthebiscuit, on 09/29/2008, -0/+16works for me. you do know that it's an error page right?...

- NathanielJ, on 09/29/2008, -4/+16One of the bigger fails in digg's comments lately.
- ilmmad, on 09/29/2008, -4/+15I for one welcome our humorous sentient website overlords.
- SRSco, on 09/29/2008, -2/+13Here is the "I'm feeling lucky" result for "Chuck Norris."
http://www.nochucknorris.com/
That's a Google Bomb.
"This page has no affiliation with Google"
"To support this site, all you need to do is place the following link prominently on your (and as many others) websites as you want. href="http://www.nochucknorris.com" title="Chuck Norris" - KMartSheriff, on 09/29/2008, -4/+15"You win!"
YES! I love this game! - tdlrali, on 09/29/2008, -6/+16bah, thanks for making me loose the game >.
- Jefftheman45, on 09/29/2008, -1/+11I like having an easy way to get to sites I like. But maybe that's just me.
..unless you were talking about the fact that the bookmarks themselves were defaults. Then, I agree. - uberduger, on 09/29/2008, -1/+11A WHOLE INTERNET?
- WickEd101, on 09/29/2008, -4/+13FF3 used to stand for Final Fantasy 3...:/
- bcreavis, on 09/29/2008, -1/+10@IonDune: No; I'm sorry, but you're mistaken. Give it a try yourself. Here's the Photoshop overlay: http://i34.tinypic.com/2rhtw77.jpg. In my sample, the font settings are consistent for the entire textbox.
(To get the first line to match, don't forget to set the character spacing to 2px. Go ahead and try coming up with a spacing amount that works for every line. It's not possible on the last two lines due to the "Y" and "o" combination... as I was talking about.) - inactive, on 09/29/2008, -1/+9Dude, what's with the dumbass comment? Jerk...
- illusionweaver, on 09/29/2008, -2/+10I can't believe I fell for it.
- opmike, on 09/29/2008, -0/+8Are you new to the internet?
- WhiteHamster, on 09/29/2008, -4/+12Ditto
- Lasereth, on 09/29/2008, -0/+8Is this a misspelling or a meme. I demand explanation!!!!!!!!!!
- kylejn, on 09/29/2008, -0/+8"Archivement"? I get the feeling I'm missing some meme reference or something.
- Shockerusa, on 09/29/2008, -4/+12Why are there Microsoft items on the link bar for FireFox?!
