I remember a bunch of girls saying they LOVE to go arms-on-top with a tall guy, and it gives them a sense of your strength and size -- always a good thing.

- brjndr, on 10/27/2007, -0/+10I figured this out. I'm tall too, and people always try hugging me with arms over the top. It's simple. When I bend down to give a shorter person a hug, my shoulders come forward, my torso goes (relatively) back. It becomes easier for the person to go high, because the my shoulders are the closest part to them. Also, as I'm bending down to meet their shoulder height to mine, it's easier for me to go hug under their arms.
