A few months ago, I collected some clearer/higher res photos from Alnwick for my site, and forgot I had them. I just put them up, along with a few others I grabbed today from Alnwick. Please DON'T digg it, as it's basically a duplicate story ... I don't want to get banned ... I just thought you all might like the photos, including a few from inside this great treehouse.
I have a few VERY high res shots if people are interested ... just need to figure out where to put them. - euphemizeme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+31ewoks or it didn't happen
- DigitalJester, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25Yes, We would.
- piratearggghhh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18That's more like a house with a tree growing through it.
- Phatlip012, on 10/12/2007, -3/+19I have some indoor shots that I can upload. There not very exciting which is why I choose to not include them. Would you guys like to see?
- JuyLe, on 10/12/2007, -4/+19Don't you have even smaller picture of that treehouse ?
- Angostura, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Indeed. In my opinion, if it is supported from beneath, it ain't a treehouse. Sorry
- fuzzmeister, on 10/12/2007, -5/+19Far Cry has a part somewhat like that.
- hexx54, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14I wonder if you're allowed to smoke in there.
- anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11At what point does a treehouse become a housetree?
- LDawg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Link to REAL site (in the Alnwick Garden): http://www.alnwickgarden.com/about_the_garden/features_treehouse.asp

How, exactly, is raping someone in the ass anything like abusing a comment system with just one word - sorry?
I don't quite get that. Strike that. I am gonna go out on a limb here and say NO BODY knows what the ***** you mean by that. - musicbear, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8inaccurate... it's a house with trees in it... not a treehouse. If the trees don't support it... it's just a log cabin with a tree growing through it... and apparently it's not actually a house, but a tourist trap complete with giftshop and restaurant.
- DiggCommando, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I wonder how many nails were put in the trees for those. Not that a few nails will harm a tree but too many and it the whole thing starts to seem a bit silly (think airborne McMansions). On a eco-tourism trip in the wilderness of Chile's patagonia I spent a few nights in some real ewok style tree houses in an old growth forest that were attached to the trees without a single nail being put into the tree; they used some sort of tensioning device. Waking up in that old growth forest in the crater of an ancient (and extinct!) volcano to the sounds of strange birds and frogs is one of the most memorable moments of my life.
- PlasteredLyric, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Why is posting mirrors comment abuse? I always look to the comments for mirrors. I think that sounding like a jackass is what qualifies as comment abuse.
- sally00, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8More like TREEShouse

It's only a few hours drive from me, really cool place to visit. The treehouse even has a restaurant in it
