- spookyttws, on 02/23/2009, -1/+19Harry Potter land won't be complete without a Quidditch World Cup arena. I don't know how they could pull it off (short of magic) but it needs to happen.
- rhustang, on 02/23/2009, -0/+12I wouldn't really call Hershey Park strange at all. It's not like they constantly shove chocolate in your face or anything. It's actually just a really kickass amusement park that also has great concerts at its outdoor stadium.
(no, i don't work for them. i did have an internship near the park one summer and spent a bit of time there though). - amanilaenvelope, on 02/23/2009, -0/+9Harry Potter theme park?
well it's time for me to put on my robe and wizard hat - alapoet, on 02/22/2009, -3/+10It's at times like these that we need amusement parks the most... Too bad so many of us can't afford the admission. :-/
- TBombadil, on 02/23/2009, -0/+6author doesn't know what a muggle is
- xyllar, on 02/22/2009, -1/+6I used to drive by that South of the Border one every year on my way to Florida. I wouldn't classify it as a theme park so much as a tourist trap. From the looks of the photos, the same could probably be said for a few of the others as well.
- MrRedneck, on 02/23/2009, -0/+5Dugg for Reddit-Land. I can hear the lynch mob forming now :D
- Lorddias, on 02/23/2009, -0/+5I'd hit up the harry potter one.
- yurishoujo, on 02/23/2009, -0/+4Aw, no good ol' Paul Bunyan land?... There's a 30 foot tall animatronic Paul Bunyan statue that has been scaring the bajesus out of kids for over 50 years now at that park.
- Zuwxiv, on 02/23/2009, -0/+4Instantly buried for not including Bonbon Land.

You've got to google that *****. - Abomonog, on 02/23/2009, -0/+4Missing Santa's Village in Dundee, Illinois. That place is just creepy. Still got dugg. Cool article.
There's actually quite of few of them dotted around the country. - inactive, on 02/23/2009, -0/+3They forgot Bedrock City. I went there several times as a kid...
http://www.flintstonesbedrockcity.com/ - fightingforair, on 02/23/2009, -0/+3They forgot two theme parks.
1. North Korean, Whalom park. Rusting rides not so safe. Plus the fact its in brainwashed N. Korea.

2.And of course......http://media.collegepublisher.com/media/paper736/s ...

- inactive, on 02/23/2009, -0/+2finally a place where people won't yell at me for letting my little wizard out
- imbatman05, on 02/23/2009, -0/+2I actually have tickets to Digger Land this weekend... I have wondered whether it's just a cunning ploy to have children refurb their carpark.
- BushidoReverend, on 02/23/2009, -0/+2I've been there.
Cool place.
Even cooler though, You get a sugar high from almost 3 miles away. - dbbblondon, on 02/23/2009, -0/+2I and the kids love diggerland - nothing strange about it though - loads of fun.
- qazws, on 02/23/2009, -1/+3Supposedly Disneyland (California) is going to get bigger in the future. Why are Disneyland tickets costing so much, strange?
- DS011, on 02/24/2009, -0/+2Most favorite item on the Harry Potter happy meal menu will be Hermione's (pink) taco...
- drunkenkite, on 02/23/2009, -0/+2Buried for reverse countdown.
If i already know which ones the strangest then why keep reading? - dickkat, on 02/23/2009, -0/+2They forgot Sanrio Puroland, Hello Kitty's Disneyland rip off.
- rhustang, on 02/23/2009, -0/+2haha, the GAC Tour is....interesting. but, come on, they needed some way to tie the park into their companies product. i always thought it was a cool like tour...kinda retro.
- MScrip, on 02/23/2009, -0/+2I don't think Disneyland is getting any bigger...
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&ll=33.8105 ... - kickass911, on 02/23/2009, -1/+3***** i live right next to the dubailand construction site.
also they are planning in stopping all construction due to the low price of oil which is where all the money comes from. - comradeTJH, on 02/23/2009, -0/+2They forgot my kitchen.
- cherrysweet00, on 02/23/2009, -0/+2This is rad. There should be a coffeetable book.
- beersk, on 02/23/2009, -0/+2That's funny, I grew up 30 or 40 miles south of Hershey, PA and as soon as I saw the title of this article I assumed Hershey Park would be high on the list. I'm guessing you never took the "Great American Chocolate" Tour, which they confuse children into thinking is fun by giving them a candy bar at the end of the ride.
I will agree with you about the rides and stadium. For South central Pennsylvania, you won't get much more bang for your buck. Unless you go to Dutch Wonderland, of course. - cherrysweet00, on 02/23/2009, -0/+1That DOES need to happen!
- StankInTheBank, on 02/23/2009, -0/+1Yeah what a loser!
- Andrewbot, on 02/23/2009, -1/+2I find that at most theme parks, the theme is: 'Wait in line, fatty.'
- Demetri Martin. - cherrysweet00, on 02/23/2009, -0/+1Whoa. I wish I'd known about that 20 yrs ago.
- ObeseSnake, on 02/23/2009, -0/+1Santa's Village was taken apart and the various attractions were sold off.
- shnize, on 05/29/2009, -0/+1Have you ever seen that place in Myrtle Beach. Don't know if it is weird but still might be cool http://www.freestylemusicpark.com
- cherrysweet00, on 02/23/2009, -0/+1That's sick.
- o0catastrophe0o, on 02/24/2009, -0/+1i want to go to all of these, seriously...well maybe not the bulldozer one D: but dickens world..amazing.
- inactive, on 02/23/2009, -1/+2Yes, everyone is losing their job, nobody can afford anything.
- DontThinkSo, on 02/24/2009, -0/+1Six Flags near where I live is only $50 for a season pass. Awesome or what?
