asylum.co.uk — A team of academics has discovered this joke, first told in ancient Sumeria around 39 centuries ago, is the world's oldest: "Something which has never occurred since time immemorial; a young woman did not fart in her husband's lap." Haha. Brilliant. I have no idea what's going on.

    would be lame if it was presented to us in classical English rather than casual English, because it takes time for us to understand it when in a form of language we don't practice.

    I heard about this a while ago, but a slightly different version of it. Nice that the first ever joke was sexist and about farting.
