On the other, she could have been seriously raped. However, what I can say is that using removal of the jeans as a determining factor is the biggest load of ***** I've ever heard. She could have been threatened, under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or any number of things. There must be some other evidence in the case that could be used to determine whether the rape was legit or a case of regret.

    As much as I would hate to let a rapist go free, I would feel just as bad about sending an innocent man to jail. I'm not familiar with Italian law, but in the United States, one is "innocent until proven guilty", so it is up to the women to prove that she was raped, not the man to prove his innocence.
