Then many people will get bored midway through if they don't have anything to share, leaving a disproportionate number of people who are excited to share their experience, or who are making stuff up for s&g's. That's even if they had a random sample to begin with, which it sounds like they wouldn't, based on the group conducting the survey.
    Let's take a completely valid survey right now: How many people like Digg.com?
    What? Apparently, 92% of the world population enjoys Digg.com. Incredible findings.
