There's a relatively famous criminal law case (Boro) dealing with this guy who scammed this woman by calling her (apparently out of the blue) claiming to be her doctor and telling her she had an illness that could either be treated with a painful surgery for $9,000 or by sex with an anonymous 'donor' injected with the curing serum for $4,500. She didn't have that money, so he eventually accepted only $1,000. The rape charge was thrown out because fraud in the inducement does not vitiate consent - she consented to the sex (if for the wrong reasons).
