Wil Wheaton's Geek in Review: Time Enough At Last

suicidegirls.com — Around the middle of November, my friends and family started asking me what I wanted for Christmas. Because the Nintendo Wii was sold out everywhere, I came up with something just as difficult to give me, but slightly more thought-provoking: "I'd like more time."

    Maybe you shouldn't write about wanting more time, as you are simply taking others time with you, or something like that. This just makes me think about how much time we all spend complaining. When we could all be doing something about it. Which puts me in the same paradox you are in. Hmmm.

      It's a goofy looking sweater, obviously. Why would you assume it reflects on him? If he designed the thing, and went to L.A. to start a career knitting designer sweaters for the rich, then yeah, he might get upset... but I was pretty secure in thinking that's not what went down there. And I've read enough of Wil's stuff to know that he has a great sense of humor, especially about himself. His reviews of Star Trek episodes are really funny, and I'm not even a Trekkie (or Trekker, don't want to offend anyone else here). Just a person who appreciates that Star Trek is a good show.
      Anyway, thanks for the reply... that was a hilarious story! Checking out more of the blog.
