This is just another example of our legal system treating women as children. Female pedophiles and killers don't do nearly as much time as their male counterparts.
Why?! Aren't they adults responsible for their own actions? Obviously not. They have to receive special consideration from our judicial system. It appears that women and children are held to one standard; and men are held to another. (And if you are a black man...you are really screwed.)
And if anyone asks what a man's life is worth, now you can tell them.
1 man's life is equal to 67 days of a woman's life.

The murder happened in '06. So it's impossible for her to have served more than like 1.5 years in jail before the trail (If it was January of '06 that the murder happened and she went straight to jail). Add 67 days to that and there's still over a year unaccounted for.
What really burns me is that a guy who gets busted selling pot could spend more than 3 years in jail for it. A guy that's never physically harmed another person let alone killed a father of 3.
If this woman was mistreated and forced into creepy sex well that sucks and I feel bad for her. But that gives her no right to murder the guy. This is just another one of those things, where the justice system has screwed up. It's the same up in Canada. Odd how few people seem to think that she made the choice to marry the man and continued to remain married to him despite this supposed abuse. It's not like there aren't hundreds of support groups out there begging to help battered spouses but hey the only avenue she had was to shoot him in the back.

After she was finally arrested for attacking her mother while she was holding my 18 month old son did Every body take a hard look and compare notes. I now live with a very nice lady for the last 12 yrs. Marriage can be great but their are evil sick people out there and they come in both sexes. NO the courts are not fair they gave my son to the only person who ever hurt him. Long story short at 12 my son escaped by becoming an emaciated adult at age 12. then moved in with me my new wife and his wheelchair bound grand ma. He now has recovered but was abused because the court favors women over men.
