- SgtAl, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Maybe they don't recognize scientology as a religion because: 1) Its not a religion 2) Its a mind control cult 3) Its a pyramid scheme 4) Its a group who's stated mission is global domination and the destruction of the mental health profession 5) Its a mind control cult 6) Its a group that will stop at nothing to ruin critics and former members 7) Its a mind control cult 8) Last but not least, its a mind control cult.
- janewith7, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0On the other hand, maybe Germany is just continuing on their path of religious persecution - one they have forged in the past to an incredibly shocking degree. Germany committed atrocities of such a horrendous degree that they should be watched - carefully - for some time to come. Any person convicted of raping a child in the past might remain suspect when a child goes missing in his neighborhood, right? Why close one's eyes to the real history of a horrifically abusive country like Germany, when they start down a similar road to the one they traveled before? I, for one, am not so ready to "forgive and forget" - but then, my relatives were killed by Nazis. It changed my family permanently. Germany has NO business interfering in religious freedom!
