- ragusa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Excellent. A lot of the areas you cover are very true for blogs and for websites in general. It is often the case that a client freaks out about their ranking. Whether it has disappeared or shot down a few spots.
The best approach is patience and minor tweaks. Google Sitemaps is also a huge help if you haven't already implemented content.
We often recommend clients that run a business and have a website to start their own blog. This acts as another portal which can help link them up to their business website.
Search engines love it and readers/customers will love advice on that particular product/service. Everyone wins.
